wala secured sa BDO, i agree with ichuo, pinakamadali yung metrobank tsaka pinakamataas pa ang CL... 90% ng hold out mo... yung iba, 70-80% lang...... i have a secured card sa metro.... *** namang problema so far....

Medyo hassle lang mag apply nito sa kanila kasi not all the employee know what is the product all about. Sa BDO Boni Maysilo ako nag open, bank branch ko rin kasi yon, Sabihin mo mag time deposit ka tapos gusto mo kamo apply secured credit card against dun sa deposit mo. 90% and aaprove nila sayo.

Technique para wag mapagod mag explain sa isa isang tao sa bank -

Basta tanungin mo agad sa employee kung alam nila SECURED CREDIT CARD, kapag hindi alam sabihin mo sino kaya nakaka alam or manager na agad!!!

Napagod ako mag explain sa kanila nyan isa isa, nakabalik nako dito sa abroad tsaka lang nila na figure out at pinadala card sa bahay na activated pa.

For just 56K time depo may Gold Card ka na. May promo pa sila ngayon na free Rudy Project Watch sa bagong issue na gold card if you spend 25k within a certain period. Check website for details

Oo nga dumaan ako sa BDO - Old Sta. Mesa branch and ininform ako na meron nga din sila secured card.. parang gusto ko nga dun kasi ok yung service and pagassist nila.. unlike sa Metrobank na medyo sourpus yung dating ng mga consultants...

Pero gusto ko pa rin tignan kung saan yung mabulis ang pagbigay ng card? Yung tipong mga 1-2 weeks lang anjan na ang card mo.. Sabi kasi sakin sa BPI matagal daw minsan months ang aantayin mo and sa metrobank naman daw sandali lang??

talaga may secured card ang BDO?,,, kc ilang beses na ko inquire sa hotline nila.... sabi ng mga agents, *** daw.... di pa nga nila alam kung anu *** secured card.... nahirapan din ako mag-explain tapos in the end, wala din pala pinahirapan pa ako hehe....

wala namang docs, ***** kasi may account nako sa kanila dati, sabi ko *** sa kanila that i time deposit the 50K, tapos apply ako ng Secured CC collateral yong time depo ko. I requested for Gold Card, tapos sabi kailngan 56K yong hold amount kasi nga 90% ang bibigay niang line of credit, so yong 6K naka hold dun sa savings account ko plus yong TD ko.

Medyo maganda yong TD rates nila, yong akin 2.75% per annum. Not Bad. one year *** pala TD ko.

yung naka hold na TD mo,kumikita pa siya.meron kasi ako sa metrobank 2 years na siya naka hold,wala naman kita,papa cut ko na lang at mag bdo na ako.

yup yon TD nga best way para atleast naka hold man medyo mataas ang interest.

yup, meron clang mybdo.com.ph, i cannot compare kung mas ok online banking nila sa bpi pero when it comes to Online banking dito sa Singapore cyempre way ahead dito as in almost everything you can do it online.

Just done paying my first bill, post dated ko *** gnawa, due date is on 2nd of October, I arrange payment on the 1st tapos naka reflect dun sa payment posted ko online receive 3rd of October... Weird!!! ***** dahil sa posting date?1? magulo *** kasi 2nd of October ako nag check (thats yesterday) if posted na, deducted na on my account pero 3rd of October nakalagay received

Keep you updated kung may charges na ma apply.... dapat wala

@ichuo_mx: yung Metro bank value mastercard bago n ba name nya i saw last wk in one of metrobank branch near our ofc in ayala they have this save and swipe? is it the same as value card? pareho ba yung card or iba na? any feedback? i didnt ask kse.hehehe. tia.

@josh_mla: ayt thanks for the update. u know josh share ko *** ha if u have extra money u might want to try lbc . i have an account with them 7.5% /annum passbuk base 1yr and incase u need it u can get a loan vs ur money. downside not too many lbc banks around.

yup, wala na yung metrobank value mastercard. phase out na, di na sila nag-iissue. tama ka, save and swipe na yung tawag pag secured yung aapplyan mo. ganun din ang principle, may hold-out amount tapos 90% ang CL mo. yung application form, ganun din sa application form ng regular card so pwede kang mamili kung anu yung card na gusto mo. may portion lang dun sa form na nakalagay "if you cannot give the required documents, are you willing to have a hold out amount?" sabihin mo lang "yes" then magsasign ka ng deed of contract then presto may card ka na. within 2 weeks dadating na card mo sa bahay nyo. madali lang sa metrobank. just coordinate with the branch for this matter. hope this helps....

Talaga... actually thats interesting ha. Actually gusto ko sana is business kasi nga babalik nako dyan. Im still thinking about it.

Actually fascinated talaga ako sa banks... hehehe when I was still in Senior High School I would go to banks if they would allow me to open an ATM Account.. lahat ata inaaplyan ko. hehehe. fascinated kasi ako sa cards e. Pinaka gusto ko Far East Bank Dati.
