Ano ka ba? Sinasayang mo lang time mo waiting for him to return. Eh alam mo naman ng impossible yon di ba? Kung mahal ka nya eh di sana noon pa kanya binalikan di ba? You don't need a man to complete you. All you need is to be happy. Just wait and see, darating din yung para sa yo. God is making sure na sa tagal mong naghintay, he'll give you someone who's somewhat close to your expectations. Ok lang siguro kahit di cute basta mahal ka go ka na girl! In the meantime, tama na yung iyak iyak. Di na uso yan!!!

    Dear Self,

I know you've been sick lately ... but you have to look after yourself more. No one else but yourself will. Look after your health, learn to eat more vegetables and fruits - take a fruit a day to eat at uni or even just remember to eat on time.

It's not good if you don't look after yourself and it will reflect on yourself...the more you look after yourself the more you will become happier - you can't afford to get sick cuz no one is there to take care of you and also because its a brand new semester remember?

    ei there!

geez, you've been killing yourself with work. always remember, there's still tomorrow. work will always be there. you really don't need to use it to pretend you're ok. but yeah, yeah..i agree with you. it's a good therapy. and hey! there's always PEX that you can count on, eh? ..tho there's a lot of troll moving in there, don't fret. at least you're challenged how to deal with them eh? so, how's your day? toxic eh? well, because you want to do everything in one sitting.

ok..maybe it's time to relax. and i mean relax ..not to stress yourself with stupid posts from the trolls there...

ok...maybe i cud watch something. or listen to music. nah! not something mushy. mmm.what about barry manilow? he's one great performer. mmmmm...got it. just finish my book. what's it again? something by Marie Ferrarella...something mushy....i hope i'll sleep before i finish chapter 1.....

and coffee..nothing beats drinking coffee while relaxing...

ok...try to relax now. tomorrow is another day self.

    nitey night.....

    Dear Self,

It took you a long time to realize that you don't have to settle for anything less. It's great that you love life. Do the things you like without any guilt. Enjoy life to the fullest. You deserve all the good things life has to offer.

hey threadstarter this is nice, nice thinking! funny but its true, why its so hard to apply in ourselves the advices were given to those needy?! because we feel & carry how heavy the load, we are the one in pain, in that situations, but still time help us to clear out everything in our mind, time is only capable of doing that, anyhow sometimes i missed out or have a hard time taken my own advices, for myself simple *** if you are strong then you'll be able to live with whatever decision you will make!

    Dear Self:

I know that when you encounter someone who's accomplished, it brings back all those feelings of inadequacy and insecurity, a flood of flashbacks of childhood tauntings, high school bullyings, college snubbings, and professional dismissals.

We learned a long time ago that contrary to popular belief, not all men are created equal. Some ARE better than others, or have had more opportunities in life. What was that line in Desiderata?

If you compare yourself with others,
    you may become vain and bitter;
for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.
Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans.

Your life is a work in progress. Sometimes that progress is sluggish; then without warning you go forward in leaps and bounds.

We are in the doldrums, but the wind will pick up eventually.

And please, please, please - stop killing yourself. Death comes soon enough on its own, unbidden and often, unwelcome. There is no need to court it.

You are a child of the universe,
    no less than the trees and the stars;
you have a right to be here.
And whether or not it is clear to you,
no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.

Therefore be at peace with God,
whatever you conceive Him to be,
and whatever your labors and aspirations,
in the noisy confusion of life keep peace with your soul.

With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams,
it is still a beautiful world.
    Be cheerful.
    Strive to be happy.

    dear self

lately youve been so depressed by the life that youre living...but look on the other slice of the cake, you have your own family..your husband and your son.that itself is a great blessing from God.it will be to hard for all of you if you will dwell on your depressions about your personal life.just enjoy your blessings and be happy with what you have.

dont desire on something that you will not eventually have or will not happen..you cant change the world for all you know.

    Dear Self,

Learn to save - stop wasting your hard-earned money on things you do not need and can avoid, for instance clothes - do you even realise how much clothes you have? Start saving !!!

And another thing, don't procastinate - do your assignments and assessments early to avoid getting stressed and achieving high marks, that's what your aim is right?

Nice one po! You made me remember Desiderata...I have almost forgotten... When I first encountered this poem in High School, I told myself that will always try to keep this poem in mind in the way I live my life...Sometimes we really get caught up with so many things and we forgot the basics...

This is my message to myself

Count your blessings! There are so many things you have to be thankful for! You have a supportive family, wonderful friends and strong faith in God. Your career is doing great and you've been reaping rewards left and right. You are also able to help so many people.

So what if he left you? Di ba alam mo naman noon pa na he's not really good for you? Burden lang sya no and a real loser! Dont you think mas magaan ang buhay mo ngayon? Wala kang iniintinding parasite na sobrang insecure sa success mo? Na lahat ng kamalasan nya parang syo pa sinisisi? You've known all along that he's the type who always sees the negative in everything. Di ba nga wala na syang nakita kundi yung mga pagkukulang mo? Pero yung mga magandang nagagawa mo para sa kanya, na-appreciate nya ba? All these years you took care of him, but did he ever care? No, he just took you for granted. Thank God you're out of that one-sided relationship! You were merely convenient to him.

Don't think of the years you were with him as wasted. Remember, those years proved that your strength of character is one of a kind. It only shows that you are a beautiful person inside and out - who knows how to love unconditionally and selfishly. You did and gave your best...

Always remember, God will never give you a problem or burden you cannot carry....and if it becomes real heavy, expect Him to carry you in His arms.
