Question Preventing or detecting pregnancy 24 hours after sex

    Guys i need your help.

What are the ways to detect and prevent pregnancy 24 hours after sex?

I had sex with my girl today, used withdrawal method. her last cycle ended just this friday.

I never came inside, but my concern is there might be pre cum, after cum, or residual fertlization.

Can't help to be too paranoid, sex is a serious thing to do.

And i should have really used a glove

Me mga babae na nag-o-ovulate even during her period. Also, sperm can survive inside the body for several days so merong mga cases na nag-do ng Monday pero Friday nabuntis si babae.

And oh btw, there are women who menstruate even when they are already pregnant.

    get her pills ASAP.

personal experience: when we had sex the first time, i took the first pill around 5 days or a week after. di naman ako nabuntis (duh!) so, my advice is... get her the pills NOW.

120+ lang yon. better that than getting her pregnant... you could even cvm inside her next time. no worries. just make sure she drinks her pills.

Thanks guys for your advices and opinions, i appreciate it.

I took her to a doctor this morning. the doctor recommended that my gf take pills (nordette) for the next 4 days. She already had 2 today.

I think she's safe naman when they had sex kaya ngayon nagte-take na ng pills ang gf nya.

Jaron, if you are single and engaging in premarital sex with your gf, you are committing a grave sin. Stop it.

I know it is difficult magpigil but just in case stay chaste.

An unwanted pregnancy can lead up to so many headaches...and because it is unwanted, most have recourse to abortion clinics.

I pray that you will never have to reach that point in your life. I have a bestfriend who had a casual sex once and he got the girl pregnant. The fear and the shock that he felt while he narrates the incident to me is still fresh in my memory. I could never forget how he worried so much...and how his life is about to change suddenly...all unplanned and unprepared...all because of a single encounter with an office girl he barely knew. Still in shock of what happened and in the process of planning out what to do with his life and how he would tell his parents about what happened, months later, he learned that the girl had a miscarriage! And my friend was very devastated because of the loss of this innocent child.

I dont want the same thing to happen to you and so if you are serious with your girl, respect her womanhood and yourself.

True love always seeks the good of the other.

    Hope you got my point.

she's DEFINITELY safe 5 days after and PROBABLY up to 12 days after her last menstruation day. don't worry about it!

at least it's not casual, so that's fine. if you're going to have something casual, ALWAYS use contraception! for such encounters, no glove, no love!

    have fun!!!

its actually 5 days after the ovulation, not menstruation, they are different, and sometimes occur on different days

^That's actually what I was trying to say. Ovulation period is kind of hard to predict. As I have said, some even even ovulate during menstrual days.

A woman is safe during these days...

5 days after last menstruation day.
3 days after ovulation until the first menstruation day.

For example, take the first menstruation day as Day 1, and assume a 28-day regular cycle.

    Day 1 to 5 = menstruation
    Day 6 to 8 = safe
    Day 9 to 12 = probably safe
Day 15 to 21 = she will ovulate on one of these days, depending on the woman
    Day 25 to 28 = safe again.

NOTE: Day 13 to 24 are UNSAFE. Use contraception!

This is a general guide; you must pinpoint exactly which day your woman ovulates in order to use this. some women have irregular cycles and therefore this guide WILL NOT WORK for them.

^I menstruate regularly (meaning every month nagkakaron ako) but I notice that there are times that I ovulate even during my period. How do I know? I have this condition that gives me pain (not menstrual cramp, I forgot what it's called) in my right ovary during ovulation. Rhythm method is really tricky, it's better to abstain (if you're not married) or use contraceptives if you don't want to get pregnant.
