This is going to be a close game. The new system of the Red Lions would be put up to the test. The Lions would use their fast break to break Mapua's defense. Without Ekwe, the bigmen of Mapua would gain confidence in attacking the basket. It's going to be up to the guards of
the Red lions to dictate the tempo. Also, Dave Marcelo step up for the absence of Sam Ekwe.

Unfortunately, that is true, according to your MANCOM rep who quoted the NCAA constitution and by-laws as basis for that.

We have a lot of big men in reserve to throw in the game. But watch for Kris Taupa. If the game becomes a running game with him on the break, be ready for a two handed powerslam from him the likes of which you rarely see.

sam's suspension is actually a good avenue for sbc's other frontliners to show what they're made of. dave marcelo has shown some flashes of brilliance as sam's main reliever. he has good blocking and rebounding skills, although he's not as intimidating as ekwe (well whoelse in philippine collegiate basketbal is, anyway?). let's see what he can really do in the middle once he gets the playing time.

Well I want MAPUA to win on Wed but I doubt.Im just realistic.With the kind of play they showed last,Im afraid.I noticed a new system in their plays which i believe is causing dismal sets of plays on their part.I still go for Horacio LIM kahit old school.PEACE NA HA?
