about the proactiv thing, i've heard alot of negatives about it.

here's the site with all the reviews on it.

i'll stick to my apricot scrub thank you!

Baldo Maro hit the nail on the head when he said: "Products will react differently from 1 individual to another." I have been a Clinique user for donkey years as we say it back home at walang problema kahit minsan. Not a lot of people know it that Clinique is a dermatologist's brand although it is owned and marketed by the Estee Lauder people. But having said that, people who have hypersensitivity will still develop adverse reactions even to harmless placebo. In other words, hindi hiyang. Interestingly enough, I did get some tiny zits after using VMV's moisturizer but my partner is perfectly okay with it.

    worst for me
    citre shine shampoo and conditioner
whisper - worst napkin ever GRR!

citre shine shampoo & conditioner - super tigas ng hair ko even with the conditioner. but their hairspray is super.

ponds facial wash - i got an eczema like spot on my cheek (wc luckily disappeared after i used shu uemura). i rave about the oil blemish powder though.

whitening products simply do not work - i've used (in order of use) Clinique, Prescriptives, Sheikisho, Kanebo, Shu Uemura. I;ve bought the whole line - from the soap to the night moisturizer. and used them all up. now i'm trying pynocare. kakastart ko pa lang.

But shu Deep Sea Therapy really works. The cleansing oils work too. but i noticed it's starting to smell rancid after only a couple of months.

now i just gave up & just live with what i've got.

neutrogena t-gel - my head was super itchy. dumugo na ata sa kakakamot ko. rejoice anti-dandruff also.
maybelline lipsticks - dried my lips
blistex - parang blisters on my lips

POND'S products are the worst in everything from facial washes to beauty powders... and they got an award for best facial scrub in preview's beauty awards?! WTF?!?!

  8. #268
pond's facial wash and yung vitamin whitening cream works well for me. ang ayaw ko lang is when they changed yung beauty powder nila. ok na sana yung dati eh na medyo light colored lang siya (blue, orange, pink). kaso when i tried yung bagong version [pink], omigad! hindi mo pala siya puwede gamitin sa buong face! para akong nasunburn! argh!

i love most Avon prods and i always recommend it to my friends and in the mag where i write in, but i have a real dislike for their ROLLERBALL LIPGLOSS... it's super sticky to the point of being icky, heavy sa lips, it has a weird smell and taste! not to mention my lips cracked and got all these annoying and painful little blisters.

definitely not recommended!!! (i'm not the usual sensitive kind)

Instead, I now go for AIDO'S LIP SHINER... it's a lot cheaper at P50 and it's got none of the above problems I had with avon.

Body Shop skin care, specifically tea tree line. I bought the whole line, wa epek! Lalo ako nag break-out.

Mane and Tail Conditioner..made my hair thicker and drier.

Vitress Hair Treatment. First time I used it..ang dulas! Succeeding times nalagas ang buhok ko! It condition as well din sa succeeding uses.

All no-rinse conditioners: malagkit sa hair!!

    What works for me:
Shampoo: Pantene, Palmolive Aromatherapy, Zen Zest Coconut Shampoo
    Conditioner: Zen Zest Coconut Conditioner
    Face Powder/Foundation: Cinema Secrets
    Concealer: Cinema Secrets
Acne Lotion: Benzac 5% topical lotion (just dab it before bedtime)

Have you seen Shopcrazy.com.ph's report on Sally Hansen Double Duty? Kakatakot yata. It turned the reviewer's nails bright yellow! Tapos merong nag-comment na nangyari din sa kanya.

Zajia Phytoaktiv Eye cream - my skin (underneath my eyes, of course) dried up because of it. Dang, instead of making me 10 years younger, that eyecream made me look 10 years older! I had wrinkles because of it - which I never had before I used it. And my God! I'm only 19! I guess this is bad karma for primping a lot.

The Pond's Facial wash also gave me pimples. And it's not even an anti-acne product - most anti-acne products will cleanse your skin but will really make you break out at the start.

Neutrogena's Oil-Free Acne Wash - If you want to really dry your skin, try this.

Secret Deodorant - as everyone said, it gave me dark underarms.

    What works on me:
Clearasil Daily Facial Wash (blue liquid) - What can I say, except that it worked? And my skin feels really smooth and not dry after washing.
