Not necessarily.

It's just an interview.

The job offer will come, most of the time, from HR.

...but you're almost there! Remember, take a shower, brush your teeth, double check your hair and clothes immediately before the appointment, and arrive on time!

Good luck.

what if the interviewer asked you, "are you willing to sign a contract" during the final interview? is this a sign that you have a bigger chance or it's really part of the interview process? thanks!

It's better to be there a few minutes ahead of the scheduled time. At least 15 minutes of "feeling good" about the office environment prior to the interview will help an interviewee shake off nervousness and thoughts of getting intimidated.

Grabe ang txtspeak ah

Unless they're pointing a knife down your throat, you can politely say that you're considering other offers and ask for some time to think about it.

Just say it politely and they will oblige.

No, it may be a final interview. Usually job offers comes after your medical examination. In our company, a job offer is scheduled separately and in here, the HR and applicant will discuss about the compensation package, etc. You may sign the contract after discussing but you can also ask them to give you time to think.

Off-topic:

What can you comment in my case? Here's the scenario:

1st day: A company summoned me for another set of interview after a very long while. (and here I thought my application with the company was unsuccessful.)

2nd day: I went there and they said I qualified for the position based from the previous interview and they want me to start as soon as possible. HR called me and they want me to go to their office the next day.

3rd day: I went to the HR and signed the salary and benefits agreement and given the list of requirements. My starting date was not finalized yet since they can't rush my papers especially the medical result. They said they will just contact me again when to pass the requirements especially after the release of my medical result.

4th day: Completed the medical proceedings.

A week after: I contacted them and asked some details regarding the requirements. I asked them again about my starting date and they said the possible starting date is next month. They said to me that I should pass the requirements since I passed the medical examination.

No official contract signing as of yet.

---

Ang problema ko, tanggap na ba talaga ako? Di pa ako makapaniwala at di pa nagsisink-in at ambilis ng mga pangyayari kasi. One moment totally desperate ako for a job then the next moment nagrurush ako for the requirements.

1st official job offer ko kasi ito kung sakali kaya excited ako ng husto at para sa akin, its too good to be true but I do hope its true.

Congrats!

As with your question, yes tanggap ka na. A company won't spend money for your medical for nothing

For now, enjoy your last moments being jobless

Bottom line:

Nothing is certain until after you sign the employment contract (sometimes called Offer of Employment).

Yan nga rin *** iniisip ko eh. Naghahanap kasi ako ng actual proof written in black and white.

Oo nga eh at sana nga.

Actually, companies do not just require people who they are sure they will hire to undergo a medical examination. What if after the medical there are negative results and these are going to affect their work performance? Then I believe the company willl not hire the said person.

Anyway Summoner_UzuI, in your case...they already told you your start date and you already passed your pre-employment requirements but there were no signing of contact or undertaking?
