Hi baby_pancake! I hope this gets through as I've already tried posting my reply 2x but to no avail.

...Requirements are basically the same for both non-voice and voice agents - excellent English communication skills, proficient in computers and internet applications, finished at least three years of college education and willingness to work on a graveyard/shifting schedule.

Non-voice agents, however, require stronger skills in written communication vs oral communication. As we know, being good in speaking doesn't translate to being good in writing. Some would say that being a non-voice agent is more difficult because it is harder to explain or give instructions in writing, and since everything is documented, mistakes can be read again and again.

Regarding the qualifications for non-voice vacancies, why is it that you've set a minimum of three years of college education - in any course? I've completed a 2-year Diploma in Information Technology. Does that automatically disqualify me? I think I meet all the other qualifications except for the 3 years of college, and I think my written English is better than that of most native English users.

Please let me know if I should still wait to hear from your office or just give up because this is what happened... I applied May 8 and passed all the tests and was asked to come back May 9 for the final interview. After the interview, I was alright and was told that a background check would be done and she asked for 2 reference persons. I was then asked to wait until Tuesday of the following week for the confirmation and completion of the requirements. Then I receive an email saying "...we regret to inform you that we found a person more suitable for the position that you applied for..." My references were never called for the background check that was supposed to be conducted and I did not apply for any specific position except that of a CSR.
After more than a week, I called HR and inquired if I failed in any of the requirements needed. The person I spoke with confirmed I passed everything even the oral assessment. She said she was going to find out what happened and will give me a call. Up to now I still am waiting for that call just to find out if there was anything amiss with my application. I have read in this section that there were people who applied the same time I did and were already hired. I believe and am confident that I did very well in all the tests given. In fact, I was even informed by the people there that this was so, but.... I can't really understand.

just want to share my experiencec:
i pass the three steps in applying which is initial, computer exam and oral assessment then the next step will be on the next dayc: the next day came, and i scheduled for my last and final interview. .dat is really worse<nightmare> i think because i buckle, actually im not prepared dat tym:c then the interviewer told me to wait for the email their goin to send by monday around 5 or 6c: but i didn't expect anythin cuz for me it is a worse interview i made:c

would you know kung kailan ang start ng hiring for support positions sa commonwealth? Kc nag pass me sa Edsa Central for senior Quality Associate 3 years na me sa Quality dept and currently handling a technical acct. and they said na baka sa july pa ang opening ng commonwealth acct. tingin nyo its better na dun nlang me magpasa sa commonwealth site? since accndg sa newspaper they are accepting applicants na dun?
