Hey guys, I hope I could wake this thread up since the last post was still 2007.
I'm also interested in joining i-bank and I'm wondering if starting out in corporate finance or treasury of a private company would help me head towards this direction? I'm having doubts whether to accept an offer of a local company (fin dept) and my concern is mostly whether experiences learned from this job can be transferable and considered relevant to the work done in investment houses? Or would trying out posts for local banks be a better option? (though that does mean I'd have to undergo job search again )
Advance thanks for your inputs!
