ano ang pinaka okey na brand ng ref?
luma narin kasi ref namin kaya mejo di na lumalamig, gumagana *** freezer pero *** ref di malamig...

ngayon balak ko na lang namin bumili ng bago kasi naka ilang paayos narin kami ng ref.

baka meron kayo recommended na brand ng ref?

bought one last december 2006. in less than a month, pundido agad ang ilaw. in less than 3 months, we had the ref pulled out by the company to have it fixed due to intermittent frost in the freezer section. kainis, di mo pwede papalitan.

daig pa nung white westinghouse na ref namin. inabot na nang 14years yun at naging madalas syang masira after 12 years na. maalaga kami sa gamit kaya di nila pwedeng sabihin na manhandled yung ref na bago. maybe we should have chosen samsung na lang =(

GE. Yun gamit namin ilang years na more than 5 yrs or baka 10 yrs na?? okay pa naman, ang problema nga lang nasira *ko* yung door nung freezer ****, pero okay pa siya.
Kaso next month (May), bibili kami bago eh ang pangit na kasi tignan nung ref namen sira yung door nung freezer. Baka GE parin bibilhin namin or Samsung para iba naman.

Kelvinator no frost (Made in Philippines); in continuous service for 16 years now. Only replacement has been the light bulb (two times).

I don't know with the recent models that came from Concepcion Industries, pero parang tinitipid na nila yung mga ref na ginagawa nila. Wala pang isang month, basag na yung ilalim or sobra kung mag-frost.

hi... ako national ang gamit for almost 10 years. pero wala pa akong problema sa andar nya. ilaw lang napunde last year and nagkaroon ng scratches. Buhay na buhay pa!

We need to replace our ref..actually 2 ref sa bahay: isang lumang american home na 15 years na ata at isang antigong white westinghouse na kasing edad ko na ata (27). magkasunod na sila nasira. ilang beses na rin sila pinaayos. i told my dad na kelangan na idispose at bumili na lang ng bago..

i went to megamall kanina at nakapagcanvass:

Ang lalayo naman ng mga na-canvass mo? I think you should first decide how big a ref you need. Mas malaki, mas mahal at mas malakas ang konsumo ng kuryente. Then, you can compare prices among different brands but within the same size.

"No frost" means that the freezer defrosts itself automatically at regular intervals. Typically, this is accomplished by shutting off the cooling and letting the frost on the cooling coils melt away. To accelerate the melting, a heating element may be used briefly. The melted frost (ie, water) is drained, collected in a tank, and allowed to evaporate naturally.

The presence and regular use of the heater is one reason no frost refs consume more power than regular refs of the same capacity.

Regular refs require the owner to defrost manually when the frost gets too thick.

Sa tingin niyo ba magandang brand *** Whirlpool? May nakita kasi ako na stainless steel na whirlpool e parang gusto ko ata yun kaso nagaalangan ako sa brand.


Yung Electrolux na ref pala e under na ng White Westinghouse na pala? Does that mean kaya na matibay na rin ito? Mukhang maganda din kasi *** design niya sa loob at labas.

Arguably the best brand of ref nowadays is FISHER & PAYKEL, an imported product whose price is also one of the most expensive. It's very light in terms of maintenance and the cooling system is one of the sturdiest. The twist though is that the parts are relatively more expensive to replace but if you can afford to have a 2-door F&P, then the prices of the parts won't be difficult for you...

The low-end F&P ref and freezer is around P70K while the top of the line ones go up to as high as P165K, especially the stainless steel ones. But trust me, you can't find any other brand better than F&P...

@Jay: Thanks for marketing Fisher & Paykel. But its price is way beyond our beyond. We're not rich to afford such luxury. Budget lang namin is P20-27k.
