According to pamahiin, bawal daw kasi they resemble tear drops. Iiyak daw ang bride pag nagsuot ng pearls.

On what i know you shouldn't wear pearls on your wedding because it symbolizes tears. To be safe just don't use any accessories at all. That's not what is important but you two (the bride and the grooom).
