I heard that there are negotiations between abs-cbn and the ncaa board to cover the games next year. what can you say about this? i think that the ncaa will finally be given the exposure given just like to uaap, at the same time more sponsors and students will watch the games. pexers, speak up!

Cool

Aba aba aba aba aba aba ABA!!!
May plano na talaga mag-dominate ang ABS-CBN sa basketball coverage. Kung totoo yan eh di mabuti for the league dahil more sponsors will come to the NCAA. Kasi, makakabuti din yan siguro sa MBA nila para may mapag-kukuhaan sila ng talent at hindi lang sa UAAP.

But I prefer Silverstar lang talaga dahil sa competence ng mga commentators.

ano?!! abs-cbn na naman?!! ano schedule ng ncaa kung mayroon na silang coverage ng mba at uaap? sana a different outfit would take care of the coverage like silverstar. i don't think abs-cbn can handle coverage of three different basketball leagues. to abs-cbn, please stay away from the ncaa!! let someone else take care of the coverage!!!

if this is true

then its a sign that abs-cbn will DROP the MBA like a hot potato and focus on the more profitable and marketable leagues, the school leagues. they lost a lot of money in the MBA around 500 THOU as reported in BETH CELIS column in todays bulletin

again if this is true
then why dont ABS CBN just merge the 2 leagues
and come up with a SUPER COLLEGIATE LEAGUE

so we will know who can truly claim to the throne of the best COLLEGE TEAM

According to my ever-reliable source, MCI, headed by Miguel Aguiluz and Tim Orbos, and a subsidiary of the AMA, is currently negotiating with ABS-CBN to turn over the rights to the latter.

It will be an X-deal...meaning,AMA or MCI will get advertising spots in exchange.

It's almost a done deal, if it already isn't.

ABS-CBN - you could have the NCAA, but please return the UAAP to Silverstar.

abs-cbn will not drop mba for sure. my "very reliable" source told me that they will change the game schedules of the three leagues to accomodate them in studio 23.

there are also plans to merge the uaap & ncaa. i think the problem will go to csb and dlsu. they are brother schools and i guess they should also merge to make the team more stronger and the cheers more wilder.

ncraa is also offering abs-cbn to cover the mc donalds cup.
