question lang: kung ma-grant ako ng tourist visa, how long bago mag-expire from the date na na-grant ako? ilang months kaya?

I will be travelling to Korea next year (September 2010) with my mother, father and disabled brother... My question is, can we apply tourist visa as a family? or magiging dependent ko yung brother and mother ko dahil di sila nagwowork??? With regards to my father and my show money, ala namang problem dahil abot siya to over $25,000USD...

backread for visa requirements. you may also opt to go to a reputable iata member travel agency to have your tourist visas processed. mas walang hassle kaysa kayo magprocess on your own unless it won't be trouble for you at all. it's very common na may parents or siblings as dependents.

as for show money, you can't bring over usd10,000 cash out of the country. it's illegal. "show money" is proof you have sufficient funds for your stay in the foreign country. this can come in the form of confirmed hotel bookings, round trip air tickets, paid tours (if booked ahead), some cash for incidentals or traveller's checks, credit cards or atm cards. in all my travels, i have never been asked to see my cash or bank cards at immigration counters.

Hi! Ill be going to Korea last week of January for the BIG BANG concert.

Kanina lang ako nag apply ng visa through an agency, by friday pa nila madadala.

My only problem is alanganin sa oras if 7 days processing although sabi nila if may travel experience pwedeng 5 days tapos na. I just have to wait if ill be approved!!

Im just worrying about plane tickets kasi pamahal na sya ng pamahal everyday! I will let u know if approved na ako. I hope okay na para I can watch the concert, I have tickets na kasi sayang naman. Hehe.

^^ Hhmm... It's not 7. I didn't have prior trips abroad and I got mine in 5 working days. If the agency lodged your app today, by next week may result na or even kung bukas.

Follow your gut feel. Ako nagsisisi ako for not grabbing the promo ng CEB PAC e. From 6k lang sana na fare nagbayad ako ng 19k for my trip last month. Pansin ko ah, ang mahal ng pamasahe pag January ng MLA-SK-MLA. Another bet would be travel agencies na merong promo na RT tickets.

praying real hard!! i will buy my ticket on the 21st nalang siguro para sure..

do they verify all documents ba? like they really call your office and stuff? or chismis lang un.

^^ IDK. I asked my dad's secretary if someone from the SK embassy called the office for confirmation, etc. But sabi niya, wala naman daw. So I don't really know if they call.

**Oh yeah, I used my dad's Cert of Employment kasi.

Ewan ko lang ha, pero sa tingin ko chismis lang yun. Twice na kong nakapag-apply ng SK visa, never pang nangyari na may tumawag sa office ko to verify. Kahit yung mga friends ko na kasabay kong kumuha ng visa, wala pang naka-experience ng ganon.

Application letter? There is no need to write an application letter. Just fill out the application form which you can download off the internet.

There's a portion on the form which asks you who will finance your trip. Since you're traveling with your aunt who will pay for your trip, just make sure that you will submit your application together so that the embassy will see that you are really traveling together.

I will be submitting the forms on her behalf pero we already have tickets that has our name and tour date indicated on it. Would that be sufficient?

I guess that should be sufficient but I read a comment before na ayaw raw ng Korean embassy na may naka-attach na copy ng air tickets sa application. May nakagalitan daw na bakit bumili na ng ticket eh wala pang visa, pano raw pag na-deny?

hi, just wondering if anyone have tried or knows if chances are too small to be granted with a sk visa if an applicant have only traveled to other countries that does not require us filipinos visa for short visits such as hk, macau, thai,etc.

also would it help to secure a sk visa if applicant will be traveling together with a korean national to korea and then back to ph? (not necessarily the financier as applicant would also be submitting his/her own bank certificate but just someone to vouch for him/her and show him/her around the country)

would there still be a need to make an invitation letter for formalities and/or proof or just stating this including the korean's korean home address under the appropriate category on the form would suffice?
