ask him to apply a fiancee visa for you. lahat ng bansa meron nun. maraming koreans ang nag-aasawa ng foreigner.

bale kapag meron kang VISA nung countries mentioned (Japan, Australia, Canada, New Zealand or US) and doon ka manggaling going to Korea, allowed ka 30 days sa Korea, visa-free. Goes to show the power of the ff. countries' Visa.

vacation sa japan? basta multiple-entry visa ka sa japan, at japan-korea-japan ang biyahe mo, pwede.

there's no fiancee visa in korea... so tourist visa lang talaga pwede mo aplayan at dapat complete documents ka, ask your bf to send you an invitation

what would be considered sufficient travel funds when presenting a bank certificate? may promo kasi ang cebu pac, bagsak ang air fare ng manila to incheon. my friend and i want to take advantage of that. short vacay trip lang since i work for a korean company here in makati (so hindi ako pwedeng mawala ng matagal, as in siguro a one-week whirlwind visit to seoul lang) but i really, really wanna go~~~

My friend and I are choosing between Seoul and Taipei for our next trip. She's coming from the US and I'm coming from Singapore. Sa airport na kami mag memeet .

I was just wondering kasi I saw from an earlier thread regarding the visa exemption that Taiwan has for Philippine passport holders as long as 1.) Permanent resident of US, Canada, Australia (?) 2.) Possess current entry visa from the above mentioned countries. I have a current multiple entry US visa. I was just wondering if this is the same for South Korea. If not, has anyone tried getting a Korean visa outside the Philippines? I'm based in Singapore and hassle if I have to go back to pinas just to get a visa. Most convenient kung dito na ako sa SG apply ng visa. Meron na ba naka experience ng ganito?

    Thanks!!!

php80,000 should be sufficient enough. If you've already been issued a visa in other countries, php50,000 pwede na. Attach your Employment Certificate and/or a copy of your latest ITR, as well.

^^ Mabilis lang. If you've already been issued a visa before (be it Korea or other countries), pwede na balikan after 3 working days. If you're a first-timer, after 5 working days. After you submit your requirements, you will be given a call slip telling you the date and time you will have to come back to claim your visa.

    Application for SK Visa

    Hi! Help ****

I plan to go to SK in Oct. for 2 weeks under tourist visa.

    1. Ok lang ba by August na ako mag apply? May validity ba yung visa once na-issue agad (expiry date)? If yes, gano katagal?

    2. I saw the application form online, I plan to apply by myself, kaso ano ilalagay ko sa Guarantor / reference field kung wala akong kilala dun kasi I'll be an independent traveler?

    3. So the visa is free of charge for my duration of stay right?

Anyone knows ano yung latest requirements aside from the passport, application form, bank certificate and certificate of employment?

    Thanks so much guys!

yeah, same question din, gaano katagal ang validity ng visa? and what happens kung di mo sya magamit?

  18. #58
We applied for a visa one month before our planned trip to Seoul, as suggested by our travel agent, and we were given a single-entry visa (you can specify if you want single or multiple-entry -- the single entry is gratis/free, but the other is not) valid for 90 days from the date of application. We also indicated on the application form that we planned to visit Korea for only 4-5 days, and we were given 15 days to stay in Korea (as indicated in the visa).

Of course, if you don't use it within the validity period, then you're back to square one!

pano kung fresh grad lang and walang job currently would all the other requirements be sufficient na?

    1. August would be fine pero actually kahit September ka na mag-apply kasi 90 days lang ang validity nung visa. Mabilis naman sila mag-process eh.

    2. Just leave it blank and state that you're funding your trip.

    3. Yes, it's free of charge kasi 15 days lang naman ina-applyan mo.

    ===

@waterwell: Kung di magamit, eh di wala lang. Next time na mag-apply ka ika-cancel nila yung previously issued visa mo. I just don't know how that would affect your future applications, though, pero sa experience ko may mga friends ako na hindi rin nagamit yung Korean visa nila pero na-grantan pa rin nung nag-apply sila ulit.

@jay08: by sufficient, you mean you will still be granted kahit fresh grad ka at unemployed? Depends on how you will be able to convince them that you can finance your trip even if you don't have a job, and how you can assure them that you won't go TNT in South Korea. Make sure that the documents you will submit will be able to show that.
