    hello!

I'm planning to visit South Korea again this November... however this time i will be going with some of my office mates who are all first timers... is there any separate requirements for second timers like me? is it fine if we submit our requirements as a group? i've read somewhere that for those who were issued Korean visa before should submit their requirements to a certain window (not sure if window 1 or 2).. im just worried that i might be denied while my office mates will be approved =( thanks!

Same requirements whether second-timer or not. Re: the window where you will submit your docs, the embassy employees will direct you to the proper window, so don't fuss too much on that. The SK embassy doesn't accept group applications, per se, except when the applicant is traveling with family. Sabay-sabay nyo lang isa-submit yung application nyo pero hindi kagaya sa ibang embassy na may group application talaga. Pag magkakaiba ng credentials, sa magkakaibang window sina-submit.

thank you for this site Me and my mama received our visas S-entry today,June 7. We will both attend a Lions COnvention in Busan on June 22-26,2012. I already bought tickets last Feb because it was on sale. Mama is an OECD frequent traveller and a government employee so her visa was ready by June5 but we decided to wait for my result. I am a 34 year old housewife and a Masteral student so the docs I submitted are as follows: passport,filled-up application form, invitation to Lions Convention, certification of membership to Lions Club, photocopy of my school ID,certificate of enrollment, birth certificate,my own bank certificate,my own car registration, copy of my credit cards,Mama's COE and copy of ITR,my marriage contract, husband's COE and copy of ITR.

May31: Ms.Korean in visa2 was a little rude when accepting my papers and kept giving me back some of my photocopied documents so I had to assert myself and explain that I am a student and a housewife.Thank God she listened and checked the papers then gave me my claim stub.

June7: Mr.Korean in visa1 has a pleasant demeanor,he was smiling while releasing passports. But we noticed that there were still a few denials.

Hi! Quick question (and sorry if this has been answered already): I'm traveling from US to the Philippines and my layover is in S. Korea. I plan to stay in a hotel since it's an overnight layover. I do have a green card and I just wanted to confirm that I don't need to have a visa if I want to go out of the airport right? I have a confirmed connecting flight to the Philippines and I read here (http://www.dynamic-korea.com/consulate_service/visa.php) that I don't have to have a visa, but I still want to confirm it. Can anyone help me out please? Thanks!

Is this correct??? My friend would like to visit me here in Korea. She has a green card and is currently living in the US. Is it true that she would granted visa-free entry as long as she has a round trip ticket and departs before 30 days????

Hello I applied for a toruist visa last week with my mom and my bf. Kailangan pa ba nila sumama sa claiming ng passport/visa or I can get all of our passports? Thank You

Hi, I'm planning to go to Korea this October. However, I'm just a freelance writer for a broadsheet and a magazine. I'm worried because I don't have an employment certificate or an ITR.

May chance ba akong mabigyan ng tourist visa? Also, one of my friends told me that having an Australian visa is an advantage when applying for a Korean visa. Is this true?

    Thanks!

@Poli: I can understand the lack of COE, pero yung ITR medyo hindi yan excused. Hindi naman kasi exempted sa filing ng income tax ang mga freelancer at self-employed.

In lieu of a COE, pwede siguro yung copy ng press ID? I assume you have a press ID since you work for a broadsheet.

Hello po... My family is planning to go to Korea but the problem is our father works in Dubai. Need help on how are we going to apply for visa. Is it okay to apply it as a family or we will apply ours here and our father will apply in Dubai? Thanks!

You don't need to apply as a family if your mother or any of your siblings can provide documents showing that your capable of supporting your travel expenses. Otherwise, you will need to ask your father to send you documents like certifcate of employment, bank certificates, etc. so you can apply separately.

Ultimately, you can just wait for your father when he returns home and apply the visa, anyway korean visa applications can be processed in 4 to 5 working days.

^^Yep. Just make sure that the tax exemption categorically states the reason why you are tax exempt
