Nagulat ako sa gas prices sa first page. Last year pa pala ang mga presyo na nakalagay. sana bumalik 'yung presyo sa ganun. It's wishful thinking nowadays for the gas prices to go way down, like for a P500/full tank (unleaded) 15 years ago.

ngayon nasa P54 na ang gas!!! grabe! ngayon lang ulit ako nagdala ng car tas nalula ako sa price!

may pag-asa pa ba bumaba ang prices?

I saw some reports that organized crime had found a way to corner the energy market.

There was also a round-table discussion where everyone agreed that there was a lot of speculation in the fuel market. So yung mga hedge funds are all heavily invested in petroleum futures in the hope that they can sell higher in the future.

My only hope is that this is a real petroleum bubble and that it pops soon.

I would rather blame the US DOLLAR. The pathetic dollar has caused all this speculation by the rich people who would rather hold assets that retain their value than worthless paper that lose its value like the US Dollar.

Ang Petron pala may E-10 na rin. Found some at the Petron on Macapagal Ave. At present, P57.57 per liter.

malampaya is not oil but gas.

Also, it is handled by the 3 oil companies here aside from our gov't.

Seems like there is now again a (small) difference between gas stations.

The Petron on SSH near San Andres sells unleaded at 57.02. E10 at 55.02. Five centavos less than others.

Not in the Metro but at Clark, Pampanga. If you regularly go there, get a voucher from their gas station and you get something like P4 to P5 per liter discount versus prevailing rates.
