baka mens lang yan. di ba pag first day, di naman red ang mens? mejo black/ deeeeepppp red. better to consult your gyne na rin para safe.
vampirella - It MAY be part of your menses, if it's around the time for you to have them. If the problem persists, however, you do have to see your gynecologist.
gumacanian, GilmoreGal -- your comments were uncalled for. It is clearly stated in the rules NOT to make fun or ridicule other people's problems. Consider this a warning.
hi. i searched sa net and i found this:
Black Vaginal Discharge
Black vaginal discharge indicates a problem is present and could be caused by a wart or HPV virus (human papilloma virus). This happens in women with abnormal ovarian functions that result in an abrupt change in the level of estrogen and progesterone produced. Women having no ovarian problems may experience this condition in the ovulation day or the first day of the menses. Black vaginal discharge indicates a problem is present and could be caused by a wart or HPV virus.
Changes in the estrogen and progesterone production lead to a slowed blood flow letting the flow get oxidized, which makes the blood turn very dark. The flow is oxidized in the uterus and when it comes out from the vagina, it is already extremely dark. Black vaginal discharge indicates a problem is present and could be caused by a wart or HPV virus.
yikes... better have that checked na ASAP just to make sure and so it doesn't get worse...
As vampirella has denied sexual intercourse, it is unlikely for her to have the HPV, which is sexually transmitted.
But, yes, the best course is really to check with your gynecologist, especially if the problem still exists.
it's ok, GilmoreGal. I haven't seen a doctor yet coz the spots were already gone.

eyedoc, how about a strong smelling discharge but not black?
Use a douche preferably vinegar & water.
Yeah baka naman yan yung pag mga first days... like dark dark red! maroon or something like that...

actually hindi first day *** nangyari e. after the konting discharges kse wala nang sumunod.
OBs actually don't recomment douches anymore. It changes the pH of the vagina. Just simple washing of the outer genitalia, don't squirt fluids inside your vagina.
vampirella -- in that case, it may be some temporary hormonal fluctuation.![]()
eyedoc, does this mean we can use any kind of soap for washing?
how about johnson's baby bath instead of lactacyd?

i think i've heard that sa isang doctor from radio, black mens usually means theres a problem in your menstration, though its not usually serious, its always advisable to consult a doctor.
Dorcas -- Soap is just really too harsh. Lactacyd, ph care and other feminine washes are ok. So is vinegar solution (del monte cane vinegar is usually the one recommended). Just wash the external genitalia, though, don't douche na (squirt it up the vaginal canal).
jisc -- It's possible, and yes, it's always better to see an OB. Vampirella, observe na lang if the phenomenon recurs, maybe you have to seek consult na talaga by then.
I've already consulted an ob-gyne before and then she gave me cefaclor for 7 days 3 times a day 500 mg. I was also given suppository flagystatin 500mg also for 7 days. The discharge went away for 1 month. Nag-culture and sensitivity test din niya ko ang result na bacteria is e-coli . Papsmear ok naman daw result then hindi nya nako pinabalik next year na lang daw ulit for annual check up but on december 21.
I'm still waiting na matapos ang 6 months period this coming february 19 para 100% sure na I'm negative. Ano satingin nyo paranoid lang ako?
Since September pa ako nagka-yeast infection tapos November nawala tapos this December meron na naman until now nga. My question is ang yeast ba talaga matagal mawala i mean pabalik-balik din talaga yun? I'm currently under medication. Umiinom me ng metronidazole 500mg 2 times a day for 7 days and i dosage ng 150 mg diflucan.
As of now medyo nawawala na unlike before. Sana nga tuluyan ng mawala i'm just worried kasi gusto ko na rin kasi magka-baby. Has anyone tried the abovementioned medicines?
