Thanks dude, na-move yung panel intrview ko.. hehe. How much po ang starting nila dito?

  2. #62

  5. #65
/\ I took the panel interview yesterday. Hmmm.. wala lang, very basic but kinda intimidating yung isang interviewer hehe. Ask ko lang kung gaano katagal bago ka i-notify about the status? i gues 50/50 status ko sa tingin ko lang, wala lang hehe. sana malaman ko results no matter what is it.. i don't want to wait for nothing hehe

  6. #66
Kung maraming applicant sempre kelangan muna nila mainterview lahat para sa final list nila. Pwede naman i-follow up kung within a week wala pa rin. Ako kasi nun mabilis lang, pagkatapos ng interview nalaman ko na result. magsisimula na kasi training nun at inihabol ako.

haha.. finally ... for job offer nako.. hyahaha! pero, di pako sa july 16 mkkpagstart next batch na after july, i still need 1 month pa kasi for my resignation sa smart hehe.. sana maging maganda stay ko sa CPI.. Thanks Pagie!

  8. #68
Katulad ba ang CPI ng SLI na idedeploy ka sa mga clients nila if ever nakapasa ka sa training?

  9. #69
as far as i know.. oo yata.. deployment agad after training. Don't know much for SLI.

  10. #70
hi! i haven;'t heard of CPI and so, maganda ba talag aang training dito? interested kasi talag ako sa oracle e. btw,how much naman ang salary dito kapag programmer trainee dito? and yung benefits and perks kapag regularized ka na? any info will be highly appreciated. thanks!

  11. #71
I may say not that high. It's expected, you will be trained and binded for two years. But if you want to invest time and build a career, you may opt to enter CPI. You may search for oracle news, market value and market demand for programmers to have more clear idea.

  12. #72
my current work is not of the IT Industry. i'm 25 now and i realy wanted to shift and build a career in IT specially in programming.. do they accept career shifters? where can i apply if ever.. hope someone could help me out.. thanks

I would like to share some infos to PEXers..

I'm currently employed in SVI and last night I've met my college friend working at CPI. We talk about our experiences in both companies.

Well I will post some of the infos we shared...
I won't disclose confidential infos or exact amounts, etc .

First I would like to update hurricane's post (page 1)
    His post: SVI <= 15K CPI > 20K
I don't know his basis for that... but right now (as of June 30)
it would be: SVI<=15k cpi <15k during training both better than those it companies that only give allowances (250-350)/day
After training it would then be SVI<20K CPI ... (no changes)?
    My opinion: SVi pays better....

    Second, with our training
SVI training is around 2-3 months, based on my friend's experience CPI training is around 3 weeks.
My opinion: I can't say if I learned more than him... bec our training (lecture) would only take up 3-4 hrs /day.( remaining hrs for hands-on) I prefer the SVI's longer training time though (less pressure)

    Third, with the technology
In SVI, if you're a programmer trainee you will either be a mainframe batch or a client/server batch (each training batch would have not just 1 or 2 prog language). With CPI, I believe that they have better and newer tools/technologies in IT compared to SVI... the only drawback is that based from my friend they only teach technology/prog language one at a time (the reason for shorter training time) BUT they have ORACLE batch for trainees...
My opinion: CPI has better tools/tech than SVI bec CPI I think is certified oracle partner... SVI has future plans for newer technologies but I'd go for CPI for now....

    More infos... soon
Hope I could add more when I got more infos the next time we meet!

NOTE: I'm not trying to damage any of the companies' reputation. I would just like to share what experiences we had in our respective companies.... in fact I encourage all PEXers viewing this thread to try both CPI and SVI... then choose later (if they passed both)

Anyway to share my experiences and my friend as well....

    My job exp:
I applied first in CPI. I passed with a very good remark and scheduled for an interview with the president/panel? After a week I've found out that the president is away (abroad) and I wait for few more weeks and I've found out later that my papers were loss? Then I tried applying for SVI and luckilly passed the exam. I've got 3 offers during that time (svi, trend micro, fujitsu weserv) but I choose SVI (best offer among the 3)

    My friend's exp:
I referred him to SVI. He took the exam and passed the prog aptitute exam although he had a difficult time in the 1st exam (english part). Then we found out that failing 1 category (eventhough it is not the prog aptitude exam) won't be enough for prog trainee position... He was offered another position (network engineer and it helpdesk) but I think he was not much interested with them. (no referral bonus ) I then informed him about CPI. He took the exam in SVI and luckilly he passed the exam!

To give you additional info... I think there's upcoming new batch for CPI (ask/pm pagie) for more info....

There is also upcoming batch in SVI (client/server batch)- Java this August and recruitment is ongoing! For more info pm me...

    Nice post. =)
Well I think the reason for training method is practical. If those prog laguages are all needed in actual job then it must be given. For example we need SQL,PL/SQL,forms and reports, it is given in batch. While database administration requires prior knowledge in oracle development that's why it is offered few moths after working as developer.
Better compensation with SVI now? I want to work with SVI now. hahaha! Well, I like java programming than any other language, but I haven't heared SVI (and CPI, but a friend told me bout it) that time.
    Looking forward:
Both are using in-demand languages, that is equivalent to better pay.

Isn't SVI having a hard time getting projects right now? And there's a big possibility that even if you're in a Java batch you may be places in a non-Java project. Don't take my word for it, ask the current SVI employees.
