For me:
2.) Xavier University
3.) UP Manila
4.) PLM
6.) SLU

I would say that UP Manila is the TOP SCHOOL for Nursing.
Second lang maybe ang school ko which is SILLIMAN UNIVERSITY (many people misspell it - it's double "L")
1.) UP Manila
2.) SiLLiman University
3.) St. Paul University - Iloilo
4.) San Agustin - Iloilo
5.) Di ko na alam.. hehe
UST at UP Manila lang lam ko na top schools sa nursing. they always dominate the board exams.
based on the performance in the board exams:
1)UP-Manila
2)UST
3)UERMMC
4)St. Louis University
5)Trinity University of Asia
siyempre when you look at schools, you consider the student: teacher ratio. The amount of college level courses and the intensity of each course. That experience I think is unbeatable.
Kaya siyempre: UP ang number one.
You'll work your way to succeed! gudluck!
University of the Philippines-Manila, University of Santo Tomas at Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila lang ang top nursing schools in the Philippines.
I wouldn't yet put PLM's Nursing on UPm and UST's level. PLM is a good school but it does not have a tradition of academic excellence that UPm, and to some extent, UST have.
I guess nobody here would easily pick a PLM Nursing education over a UST Nursing education, let alone a UPm Nursing education.
^ Board exam performance alone is a flawed reasoning. There are obviously other important metrics to rate nursing schools and board exam performance is just one of them. Other performance factors should include the quality of graduates, the prestige of the school, the strength of the student body, the caliber of faculty, facilities, training standards, curriculum, schools support, alumni support and access to course materials among others.
Most of the doctors currently working abroad would recommend UP, UST, UERM, and FEU.

Here' how I would rank Nursing schools in the Philippines:
1. UP Manila -- in a league of its own.
It's obviously the most selective, most prestigious, has the best faculty, has the strongest student body, has the best training facilities and has much access to academic support. It's also one of the three nursing schools in Asia that has agreements with the World Health Organization (WHO).
2. UST
3/4. Silliman / Xavier University
5. St. Louis University-Iloilo
Runners up: UERM, FEU, and a couple more CoE Nursing Schools that have slipped from my mind now.
Up-and-coming Nursing schools: MSU-Iligan, PLM, Cebu Doctor's, Velez College-Cebu and some of the best ones in the provinces.
UST's very first Center of Excellence is the College of Nursing.
no other than UP, UST, UERMMC, SLU, Trinity University of Asia...
They are very consistent in terms of board passing rate either June/Dec..., the has a top caliber faculties....
Okay rin ba ang products nila when it comes to skills?
UP, no question on this. Student-selectivity, faculty and passing rate is definitely incomparable
UST is next, despite of the large numbers of examinees, UST's reputation in nursing is extremely admirable.
Siliman University
St. Louis University
Xavier University
