siyempre one and only: UP manila!

siyempre when you look at schools, you consider the student: teacher ratio. The amount of college level courses and the intensity of each course. Hindi lang dapat magaling ang lectures and symposiums nila dapat maganda din ang experience sa clinical area. Kung UP ka, sa UPPGH ang training mo. That experience I think is unbeatable.
Makikita mo nalang sa mga klase ng estudyante na nakakapasok sa program: piling pili at di biro ang maka pasa let alone makagraduate sa tamang 4 na taon ( walang delay).
Kaya siyempre: UP ang number one.

ps:: yung nga lang depende din yan sa estudyante, wala yan sa eskwelahan, kung masipag, matyaga at may ambisyon ka. You'll work your way to succeed! gudluck!

By the way, UP-Manila at UST have long been considered as Centers of Excellence in Nursing.

    Unlike others.

Sa provinces, Silliman U gets my nod.

I wouldn't yet put PLM's Nursing on UPm and UST's level. PLM is a good school but it does not have a tradition of academic excellence that UPm, and to some extent, UST have.

I guess nobody here would easily pick a PLM Nursing education over a UST Nursing education, let alone a UPm Nursing education.

UST College of Nursing, dahil na-hahandle nila yung ganun karami ng students yet maganda ang performance nila sa board exams.

^ Board exam performance alone is a flawed reasoning. There are obviously other important metrics to rate nursing schools and board exam performance is just one of them. Other performance factors should include the quality of graduates, the prestige of the school, the strength of the student body, the caliber of faculty, facilities, training standards, curriculum, schools support, alumni support and access to course materials among others.

Most of the doctors currently working abroad would recommend UP, UST, UERM, and FEU.

^ Silliman Univesity, St. Louis University - Baguio, Chinese Gen College of Nursing and Trinity University of Asia.

Here' how I would rank Nursing schools in the Philippines:

    1. UP Manila -- in a league of its own.
It's obviously the most selective, most prestigious, has the best faculty, has the strongest student body, has the best training facilities and has much access to academic support. It's also one of the three nursing schools in Asia that has agreements with the World Health Organization (WHO).

    2. UST

    3/4. Silliman / Xavier University

    5. St. Louis University-Iloilo

Runners up: UERM, FEU, and a couple more CoE Nursing Schools that have slipped from my mind now.

Up-and-coming Nursing schools: MSU-Iligan, PLM, Cebu Doctor's, Velez College-Cebu and some of the best ones in the provinces.

UST's very first Center of Excellence is the College of Nursing.

UP, no question on this. Student-selectivity, faculty and passing rate is definitely incomparable

UST is next, despite of the large numbers of examinees, UST's reputation in nursing is extremely admirable.

    Siliman University
    St. Louis University
    Xavier University
