just sharing my 6 days coron trip

Day 1 Arrive at Buasuaga Airport, we avail the package of www.corontourpackage.com and our hotel is sunz en coron
Day 2 Went to Siete Picados (good for snorkling and its like your inside an aquarium)(100 pesos entrance)
Kayangan lake (water is cold and so clear ) (200 pesos entrance)
vivian beach, (ate our lunch)(100 pesos)
Barracuda Lake (another good place to swim and has a small area that you can dive)(100 pesos)
    CYC Island (no entrace fee)
We really enjoyed the Kayangan and Barracuda lake

Day 3 Malcapuya Island (place has a good for swimming and snorkling, there's a lot of giant clams) (200 pesos)
Banana Island (same as malcapuya but more finer sand, and fish are much larger compare to Malcapuya)
Bulog dos and Malaroyroy (hindi na kami bumaba kaparehas lang kasi ng Malcapuya and banana island, ayaw na namin magbayad ulit ng entrace tipid mode na)
This day we really enjoyed snorkling and swimming in the beach

Day 4 Shipwreck (yung pinakamababaw na shipwreck) (we really didnt enjoy the snorkling coz the ship is
unreconizable and kind of itchy, maybe coz of jellyfish in the area) (100 pesos feeith )
Pass island ( a two hour boat ride from coron town, its like malcapuya/ banana island pero masmaganda

Day 5 Calauit Safari ( You can see girafee, zebra and palawan deer on the wild and you can feed and get a pic
in a close distance)(take note you must have reservation at coron town before going to calauit para
hindi kayo huling grupo na sasakay sa truck)
Maquinit Hot spring ( i guess, you can boil an egg in there)
hindi ako masyado nagandahan sa safari konti lang ang animals, para sa layo ng byahe

Day 6 Bumili ng pasalubong and went back to manila

I'm planning a trip to Coron for me and my gf. I reside outside the Philippines. Would greatly appreciate any replies and help from those who have been there or frequent the place.

    1) I'm looking to book at Coron Gateway Hotel. Any feedback about this place? I'm not expecting a 5 star hotel but their daily room prices are the most expensive in the list of Coron hotels so I expect at least a 3 1/2 to 4 star place. Will the swimming and snorkeling be done in the various island tours or does the hotel have a beachfront to wade and pool also? Any other hotels of comparable quality/better?

    2) They offer packaged tours which are convenient since they include all or almost everything. I will most likely purchase the packaged tour but I am just curious how much it will cost/ I can save if I just purchase the room stay and plan the tours locally when we get there.

    Thanks.

Hi Mr. Noelizm. I would like to ask if you availed the tour package of coron galeri? What about for 2 pax? Will they give you discount, if possible? Actually we are willing to join a group. They offer a promo package for minimum of 6 pax that was 3,500 each. with accommodation (triple sharing), transfer and tours. So we decided to avail their transfers and tours only. Preferably Tour A, Tour B1 and Tour B2. One more question, can we combined the tour B1 and tour B2 in one day? I hope you were familiar to their tour packages. And I will highly appreciate if you will response with my inquiries. We'll be going to coron by next month. Thank you so much

Hi! I only availed Coron Galeri's 3 tour packages B1, Malcapuya, and Calumbuyan, no discount from their standard rates.

If there is enough time and if your tourmates would agree, they allow B1 & B2 tours to be combined. On my last day, half of my group tourmates combined the Malcapuya and B1 tour in 1 day, while the other half were brought to the port at noon, since we have a plane to catch at 4 pm.

  10. #4910
Well I hope that our tourmates as you said will agree to combine tour B1 and B2 in just a day coz we don't have enough time.Actually I felt so disappointed to my chosen date since it's 3D2N only and what makes it worst is on the first day we will arrive there at 11am then will depart on the 3rd day at 10am. Anyway, regarding coron galeri, do they really not require deposit? I just want to clarify since you already experienced their services. Thank you!

It is located in the northern part of Palawan, being a part of the Calamianes Islands composed of four municipalities—Coron, Busuanga, Culion and Linapacan. Coron is located in Busuanga Island, being one of two municipalities therein and is the center of commerce and trade in the Calamianes.

Nestled in Coron at the northernmost tip of Palawan, It is in island composed of towering limestone cliffs, coves, lakes, pockets of white beaches — all beautiful aspects one could think of an island. The rock walls are undercut by waves and been exquisitely carved by wind and sea into sculpted forms and formations.

    Hi!

Anyone who already stayed in Apartelle de Gabrielle or Coron Eco Lodge? How was your stay there? I like Apartelle de Gabrielle because of their balcony facing coron island, but i think coron eco lodge has better rooms..

Coron Gateway is located a few meters from the pier and market. It seems out of place because the surrounding area is quite dirty and noisy. Can't say anything about their service since I just saw the hotel on our way to the docking area. We stayed at Gran Vista but based on your requirements, I don't think you'll like it there. It's a 10-min trike ride from town but its aura is very relaxing, very close to nature. We only had fan rooms, though. P400/person/night. Coron is not like Boracay. If you like beach front hotels, you have to go to the islands such as Malcapuya and Banana island. Try to look at Princess of Coron.

    2) They offer packaged tours which are convenient since they include all or almost everything. I will most likely purchase the packaged tour but I am just curious how much it will cost/ I can save if I just purchase the room stay and plan the tours locally when we get there.

Coron Island Loop small boat (max. 6 pax) is P1,500. Larger boat is P2,000. The coron loop tour consists of 5-6 sites. Entrance fee is P100-P200.

Malcapuya tour small boat is P3,500 and large boat is P4,000. This tour usually takes the guests to Malcapuya island (P200 entrance fee), Banana Island (P200), Bulog Dos sand bar (P100).

Try to backread or check this site for other sites' entrance fees.

If you do a DIY tour, your boatman serves as your tour guide and cook also. You also have to buy from the market and your boatman will cook the food while you're swimming or snorkeling. Usually, the packaged tours have separate tour guides and charge P500/day (based on our package).

    Hope this helps!

On my first 2 tours with Coron Galeri, they asked for about 50% deposit. On the third tour, I just paid during the tour day.

Sayang, your first and last days will be spent on travel. If you want to maximize your stay, you may want to hire a boat to see Kayangan lake and nearby islands after a quick lunch during your arrival date. Then you join Malcapuya, Calumbuyan, or other tours on your second day.
