less than 200k binayaran ko kay doc manzanares for 2,500 grafts. during that time, i only trusted manzanares or pineda dahil wala akong nakuhang negative feedback sa kanila. kung minsan, sa kanila lumalapit ang ibang HT repair patients na hindi satisfied sa naging result from other doctors (hindi ko na babanggitin kung sino yung mga yun). i just didn't want to take the risk of being a repair patient myself

kilala ba yung mga surgeon na palpak ang HT?

wala naman.1month pa lang.1/4 ng 5mg.hinahati ko sa apat.araw araw.minsan pag nalilimutan ko di ako nakakainom.pwede din every other day kasi.

Visited Doc Lumibao before the Holy Week break for consultation, sabi ko sa kanya I'll put in a good word for him so here I am. He's the third HT doctor I've visited -- also went to Manzanares and Arambulo.

Ang masasabi ko lang, sobrang okay siya kausap. No BS, at saka totoong tao. Doesn't market himself, tells you the facts straight up. At saka kung marami kang tanong now, best to just pay him a visit. He'll answer all your queries, and makikipagkwentuhan na rin. Really easy to get along with. Sobrang helpful, and he's a believer of educating the patient and not ripping off people for their money.

I think our consultation lasted 2 hours, half ata dun kwentuhan lang. Nahiya na nga ako kasi feeling ko inubos ko oras niya, kaya tinanong ko kung may bayad yung consultation haha. Thankfully, free siya

Moving to the topic of HT. I was wondering if he performs FUE, pero hindi. FUT lang siya. Better to ask him na lang personally why. I'm still contemplating getting the operation because of two things:

1) Iffy about having that scar at the back of my head. For life na kasi yun. Pero sabi naman ni Doc matatakpan basta you don't shave your head. And if it's not a big operation (I'm Norwood 3 going on 4), the scars aren't probably significant. At saka basta sundin lang post-op instructions ni Doc.

2) Recovery period. Hard for me to take a leave for a week, much more 2 weeks. Not sure if I can effectively cover the red parts of my hairline na nilagyan ng grafts.


Anyway, those are my inputs. Sa mga nahihiya or natatakot mag-consult kay Doc, wag niyo na patagalin pa. Maganda na rin na ma-educate kayo about the procedure and your options. He's very accommodating and a very nice guy, which makes opening up to him really easy.

I don't know what to say, a simple thank you may not be enough... but I am grateful and I truly appreciate every word you've said not only about me but for all our brothers out there in need of help in regards to hair loss.

medyo ok na pre, pero namaga mukha ko on the 1st 5 days due to anesthesia. balik *** sa dati but he recommended me to take finasteride to retain some parts but i'm thinking twice due to side effects. i am just searching whether to proceed.

Just take it as directed or every other day or even every 2 or 3 days and worry about the side effects later. Just think about the benefits it'll do for your existing hair.
I have been taking Finasteride 1mg myself since 2007 and I've never had the most-feared sidefx of decrease in libido.
Frankly, I experience the opposite. So, I've been taking the pill infrequently just to keep the sidefx at bay.
You know what I mean?

mas marami chicks naiinlove pag confident..hope to overcome this...kahit di tumubo basta confident...it's more than a thousand hair.

You have to love yourself first before others will love you.
So, don't dwell on the negatives.
Focus on the positives and would-be positives.
Dump all your bad and sad thoughts in a chest and toss in the ocean and turn your back on it.
You will feel and look better and people will see it.

no. hindi naman, though di pa naman ako kalbo. kasi dati sa isang episode ng correspondent where doc lumibao was also featured may isang ininterview na kalbo sabi niya when nakipag eyeball siya dun sa girl eh nakita na kalbo siya ayun di na siya tinext uli.

so hair really does matter to girls. kahit sa survey eh napatunayan na yan na men with hair looks more attractive than one who is bald.

I'm really not sure about this... about hair making men more attractive to women.
I'm in the hair business but I may add tha being bald is not a negative to women, especially intelligent women.
We really don't know what women want but hair is not on top of their agenda.
There are deeper factors involved.
This, I think, may be true:
"Men love with their eyes, women love with their ears."

Baka 2 years kita na yung full effect ng drug (finasteride) sa hair loss,
but that doesn't mean you'll have to stop taking it, our body is constantly producing DHT.
And we the lucky ones
have genetically DHT susceptible hair.

* Minoxidil (malas mo kung receeding hairline maliit lang chances tumubo dun)
* Finasteride (can reverse hair loss, but reverse your sexual drive. )
* Hair Transplant (eto proven, pero mahal. )
* Concealers = wigs, toupees, hair fibers (pwede rin, pero hindi natural )
* ACCEPTANCE (embrace your hair loss/ baldness and go on w/ life, oy madami pong kalbo na successful ha. tipid pa! )

Yeah, may anak na nga ako. Tatlo.
And yung dalawang sumunod, na-conceive a year after kong magstart ng daily dose of 1mg Finasteride.
So, Engr, wala kang problema sa department na yan.
