@LOLOLOLOL Haven't tried it myself ( my plan came with a phone) but perhaps you can ask if you could upgrade your plan (which they definitely allow) so that it includes a phone. They may or may not request for additional financial documents from you ( Payslip, Credit card statement 2 months of current ) Once approved it will then be a matter of phone availability, cashout when necessary, and which ones you like.
Wtf happened last night? Ang hirap kumonek Globe to Globe, Globe to Smart, Smart to Globe, Sun to Globe. Unsent messages, delayed messages, network busy. It was around 9PM at the Fort area.
Di man ako nakapag-avail nung S3 promo nila when I renewed my contract (I bought an open-line one instead, sobrang tagal kasi from Globe), eligible pa naman pala ako for a free phone when I renewed/upgraded my plan. Magaganda rin yung mga choices (included is the Galaxy Tab 7).![]()

in the past few years globe has been lowering their rebates. they used to base the rebates on how much you actually spend and not on the plan you have. so if you go over your plan and actually get billed around 2500 a month (coz this is what my sister used to get billed), u at least get 500-1000 off your bill every month for 10 months. back when i used to get billed around 4000-6000 a month, i get an automatic rebate of 1k a month or my choice of phone. it didn't matter how low your plan was, it was all about what you had to pay monthly.nagdadalawang isip ako sa offer na binigay nila. magkano ba usually ang rebate kung example ako Plan 599, eh P237 daw yung rebate. kung magaavail naman daw ng phone, eto na lang yung mga available:
and because of that i also got honorary platinum status by globe, pero for some reason they removed said status kse special exemption lang daw ako to the rule na hindi kumuha ng plan na platinum na naging platinum nalang. wala na daw ganon ngayon. what a crock! i still spend the same amount of cash no matter what plan i'm on!!! kahit gawin mo pang plan 300 yan o kung gano pa kababa yan.
so naturally i chose the phone coz mas malaki ang natitipid ko compared to getting a retarded rebate. but then most of the time napapaisip den ako coz globe has one of the worst warranty services ever.
pero bulok naman na lahat mga networks natin na yan coz they all just get together and collude to crap out their services just to make sure every one of them makes a quick buck. with the exception to sun, since halatang pinagkaisahan lang sya ng two bigger networks and nabenta tuloy sa smart.
I just recalled my stupid case with Globe.
Last January, I complained about signal issues with my area and I was advised last March that it was because my location was 3.1 kms away from their cellsite. I still experience that problem til today.
This morning, while I was walking, I noticed 2 Towers (the Red/White and Gray, about 150 METERS away from my house) near or Municipal Hall, and had thoughts on researching which telco owns it.
To my surprise GLOBE effin OWNS it.

Kumuha ako kanina ng postpaid na Tattoo (plan 499) na 24 months contract for 7mbps daw. 2 days max for activation plus 1 month advance. Sayang at hindi eligible sa rewards yung Tattoo pero bakit kaya? Tutal binabayaran ko naman ang Globe at for sure malakas ren ako gumamit ng inet. Sana same policy from postpaid ang i-apply sa Tattoo.

Lagpas na ang 48 hours para dun sa activation ng Tattoo ko at hanggang ngayon pending pa renSabi ng cx svce follow-up nila dun sa branch kung saan ako nag-apply. Pag dumating etong weekend ay malamang ipapa-cancel ko na lang.
