Globe Users (Postpaid & Prepaid) Thread

Sa mga kapwa users. Ano masasabi nyo lately sa Globe? Laking tulong ba or sakit sa ulo? Bakit?

Let me start the ball rolling.

- Napansin ko lang sa mga download services ng globe. They prefer the high end phones and did they try to cater other units.

- Last Dec 30 & 31 ay sobrang messed up ang billing ko at di ma-process ng system yung transition ko from unlimitext50 to unlimitext25. At ang sabi ng cust svce is tanggalin ko raw si ko from phone and wag muna mag text. Mejo nasira tuloy new year ko sa dami ng text na hindi ko masagot.

i just acquired a globe sim so i cant compare then and now.

i can compare smart to globe.

nahirapan ako magsend ng text kahapon eh katabi ko lang yung tinext ko. nasa mall kami at open space naman. i had to resend two text messages.

hmm. di ako ganun kalakas sa globe siguro dahil may smart din ako. hehe.

im a globe user too, medyo tumatagal paminsan-minsan pag nag-loload ako ng unlimitxt, it takes 30 minutes or 1 hour para ma-confirm...

buti nga ganyan ang confirmation. when unlimitxt was first introduced it took 12hours or more to know kung registered ka or hindi. Much worse there were times na naka unli ka na per di mo pa alam

kahapon nagregister ako sa unlimitext, 7 hours bago ko matanggap ang confirmation na pwede na ako mag unlimitext...haaaaaay

pcm - its ok. kasi dati 12 hours or more. Dec 30-31 my unlimitxt wont refresh and walang magawa ng mga tiga globe. i was pissed off kasi di ako maka text masyado dahil wala akong unli and ayoko naman lumaki bill ko sa kakabati ng happy new yr sa mga kakilala ko.


ps. Is it true that smart cust svce block out your number from calling them pag naging super irate ka sa kanila?!

regarding yahoo to go can i use it with globe? kasi diba gumawa sila ng sarili nilang version nun yung IMeverywhre

would you believe na nung december 31 e naubusan ako ng unlimitxt? i loaded autoload, and it took me 30 minutes before nareceive ang autoload. but it took me just 5 minutes to enable my phone to text unlimited free texting.

pero 2 days ago, i had to wait four hours from reloading unlimitxt before i was finally able to use free text.

Ok lang sa akin ang globe... yun talaga ang gusto ko unlike sa smart na laging kinakain load ko

and regarding sa unlimitxt, wala naman akong masyadong problema dun

lady baller 21 - i think any phone can access yahoo (even though may imeverywhere promo) ayoko nga lang mag access kasi mahal na ang singil ng Globe kada access ko

bluethehero - my partner used to work as a csr for globe and she told na talagang topakin system ng globe. one can never when it works perfectly. its a big inconvenience when their system does deliver what they promise to us end users

Kung naka post paid ka wag kang mag unlimitxt. Umabot ng mga 2K ang billing ko sa globe dahil daw di pa raw ubos yung free txt ko nung nag load ako ng unlimitxt50. Last month naman sabi sa kin di daw pumasok sa cut-off period nila yung unlimitxt. Kaya daw na bill sa kin lahat. I-adjust na lang daw nila sa next month billing ko. Ang labo ng billing system nila.

Sorry if its kinda blurred message (wasted na ako from work @ dagdagan pa ng topakin na dsl connection.) I was trying to say that Globe's system doesnt work 100% all the time. Sometimes biglaan na nagagawa nila request mo minsan hindi naman. Sa tinagal tagal kong customer ng globe i've experienced almost all of their best and worst moments.

I think postpaid users have this problem with unlimitext. Sakin din umabot ng mga 12 hours to activate. Pero sa prepaid wala namang problema, less than 2 mins pwede ko na uli gamitin. So if i want to text and text, i use my old prepaid SIM. Calls lang yung line ko.

I think it also has something to do with the kind of SIM used. Yung mga tipong advanced na SIM (higher than 64K) have the fastest unlimitext response ata.

#1 critic - In regards to your post (at eto sinabi sa akin ng cust svce last Dec 31 nung na delay update ng unlimitxt ko) Hinihintay pa kasi i-process ng system yung previous unlimitxt50 (which expired Dec 30) ko na mag expire ng tuluyan and in turn process the unlimitxt25 na ni request ko to replace the unlimitxt50. I was warned not to text that much kasi hindi pa raw naayos ng system yung unlimitext request ko. Nainis ako syempre kasi Dec 31 and I was expecting na nagkaroon ng smooth transition sa unlimitxt ko. LO! and BEHOLD! Jan. 1 Na inform ako ng 2870 na dun lang na process ng system yung expiration ng unlimitxt50 ko.
