The two shortest Nuggets, newcomer Allen Iverson and reserve Earl Boykins, each scored 28 points during a 116-105 victory over the Boston Celtics at the Pepsi Center. The 6-foot, 165-pound Iverson recorded his seventh double-double of the season and had a season high- tying 13 assists. Meanwhile, the 5-5, 133-pound Boykins was one point shy of tying a season high. Denver (15-10) is 1-1 since acquiring Iverson from Philadelphia on Dec. 19.“

Nice win for the Nuggets. Nene's got a double-double. He deserves some credit, too.

The Nuggets are a little overloaded with undersized big men. I hope they can move one of the big men, preferably the KMart who sometimes proves to be a distraction. The upside of a healthy and motivated KMart does not compensate for the untimely distractions he causes

huge game from AI... double double ulet... how's that for sharing the ball?

Watched the Sonics-Nuggets game. Iverson was really aggressive, he still had his share of assists but he really looked for the basket. Picks and rolls all night long. He penetrated at will, to shoot or kick out. Kulang na lang, mag-zone ang Sonics para mahinto ang pasok niya. They had different guys on him, of which benchwarmer Mike Wilks was the most effective, but to no avail.

Imagine how potent he was in the slow break, half court Sixers offense. Now, he's in Karl's uptempo offense, where he encourages possessions of only 5-8 seconds. This was made for him. Kaya kahit bumalik si Melo, they'll be enough baskets to go around. Playing in the West will free AI even more. The guy's rejuvenated and happy, he'll have a long career in Denver.

Can't wait till the whole cast returns. I'd like to see AI throw those alleys to JR or kick out the ball to 'Melo once the defense sags on him. Swoosh! Gawd, he can do that all night long. Ilang assists kaya magagawa nya with 'Melo and JR at the wings. Career number in terms of assists? Hope so.
