    Blueberries in the Philippines???

Learned from the Oprah show that blueberries are the real food for the brain. Can we actually find fresh blueberries in the Philippines? If not, is there a canned or bottled version somewhere, not the jam or the super sweet kind ha!

    Just wondering...

I've seen fresh blueberries in Rustan's, the Driscoll brand.

I believe I've seen canned blueberries at Metro supermarket in Market! Market!

There are also dried blueberries (much more palatable if you want them as a snack) at Landmark.

Heny Sison mentioned that Baguio already grows them. Kaso maliliit at maasim daw. Any big supermarket has the canned blueberry pie filling.

we are growing blueberries, rasberries, and strawberries in Baguio. Unfortunately varietal selection is very poor and we should introduce imported varieties for commercial production. Anyway, we import the fruit and are found in high end markets like Rustans.
