Over the counter sa Watsons. I think Mercury requires a prescription, pero sabi ko nalang kunwari nagkamali ako ng dalang Rx. It's a bit pricey but comes with 21 pills.

Hi there, you did the right thing, taking ECP right after. Sa tingin ko naman hindi ka fertile nung Jan 11 kasi dapat nagka-mens ka na..so mababa yung risk na mabuntis.

Just wait for it. Try not to be stressed and worried kasi nakaka affect talaga yun. I had the same experience and after almost 2 months ako nagkaroon ulit.

thank you. and you're right just yesterday I had my period (yesterday was exactly the 14th day since I took the pills)

We had sex on the 13th day of her cycle around 10:30pm. An accident happened and it went inside her. She took Nordette as a "morning after pill" (4 pills at 12:30am and 12 hours later 4 pills again at 12:30pm) She vomitted roughly about 4 hours later.

We are going crazy!! Yet it is just the 2nd day since she took the pills, I just want to know what you think.

it is advicable to take the pills regularly, like Althea.. to prevent the accident of unwanted pregnancy... its better to be safe than sorry

Hi! I was looking for ECPs across the web and luckily bumped in to this thread...well, here's my story and inquiries:

We had unprotected coitus last October 30, 2012 around 4am, unluckily the condom somehow spilled. I don't what was the cause because I had been using it since (because I don't want to have my girlfriend get pregnant)...she had her 1st day of mense last October 17 and when I checked Ovulataion calendars it was her fertility week during that day...we were so nervous because of an instance that she might get preggy...so I searched for possible ways to prevent pregnancy after intercourse and I found out about ECPs...to make the story short...I bought Nordette 21 (Pfizer with white pills) and have her take the first dose (4 white pills) around 7pm-October 30 and then the 2nd dose around 7:20am-October 31...

I asked her if she felt different after taking the meds as I have read there will be nausea, dizziness or vomiting as side effect and she felt nothing with the mentioned side effects...my inquiries are as follows:

*is it possible that she will not be feeling any of the mentioned side effects after taking Nordette?

*I have read about withdrawal bleeding after taking Nordette, how long will it take for her to experience it...as of now as she does not have it yet even the spottings.

*are we on the safe side now since she took Nordette within the 72hr window (she managed to take it in less than 24hrs though)

*what are we looking for to know that Nordette is working as ECP...


As facts that I read that it worked 85-90% but we still can't help to think about the possible pregnancy that may occur and we don't want that to happen...

your answers and help would be much appreciated since we are already pass the 72hr window for ECP to take effect...

Hi! I had my last period on September 23, 2012 then we had sex on September 29, 2012 and cummed inside me. I took the 4 nordette pills after 11 hours then another 4 pills after 12hours. Then on October 6, 2012 (6 days after taking the pills) i had a bleeding and from what I understood from my research it's not yet my real period because it's only a wthdrawal bleeding ata ang tawag dun. I bled from Oct 6-9 and it's kind of heavy and brownish-reddish ang kulay. I expected my period Oct 21-24 since my period is always like that hindi laging parehas but naglalaro siya lagi sa mga ganyan date. I'm worried kasi Nov 3 na and wala pa rin period ko.. I know magiiba *** cycle ng period kapag nagtake ng nordette pero kinakabahan ako kasi baka pag itong next week wala pa rin feeling ko magppositive ako

here's my questions..

1) sa tingin niyo ba safe day ko pa rin *** 7th day ko? since i had my period sept 23 then we did it on sep 29.. kasi sa research ko ok pa naman..
2) masasabi ba na naging effective *** nordette pill kapag nagkaroon ng withdrawal bleeding?
3) is it possible na i'm preggy if next week din pa rin ako magkaroon? (nov 5-11) today is nov 3

what do you guys think? i'm really worried

medyo hindi natin masasabi yan, have you tried checking with PT? or ask your OB about it? advice ko lang sayo sis, if your really not ready to have a baby, mag pills ka, para sure na safe ka, since at time mahirap talaga makaiwas. if ever pregnant ka(hopefully not) after giving birth use daphne pill, ito safe sa breastfeeding mom, and at least sure na makakaiwas ka na masundan

Hi! can someone help me with my inquiries? Until now she has not experienced withdrawal bleeding and its already the 10th day since she took the pills? Is it neccessary to have withdrawal bleeding to know that Nordette is in effect as an ECP or is it ok not to experience it?

I'm not that as familiar with nordette, since it on the 10th day, you might want to check it using PT. and you can go ask an OB to be sure. Let me suggest since both of you are not ready to have a baby yet, better take contraceptive pills to be on the safe side.

Based from the research and testiomonials that i've read.. some will feel th le side effects while some will not. From what i've read the 14 days was the longest before the withdrawal bleeding came.

dont stress youself to much. lalo madedelay yan and it wont be healthy to you. next time take a pills na lang para maiwasan ang ganyang prob. like me, worry free thanks to charlize

after the deed, nagcum sya sa loob and then I took 4 tabs of nordette within the 1st hour after the deed.
I took another 4 after 11.5hours.
Sa mga nababasa ko dapat magkaron na ang babae after 8 days magtake ng nordette.
Today i my eighth day pero until now I do not feel any pre-menstrual symptoms like cramps and tender breasts.
Aside from that, nakakita ako ng clear na may slight white discharge kanina. What would that possibly mean?
Does anyone know?

Oonga pala, we also did another deed I think last Dec7 or 8 but it was very quick, he did not even ejaculated. Will that affect the pill's effectiveness?

You mean bleeding, sis? Kasi common side effects ng pill talaga is nausea, headache, breast tenderness and some breakthrough bleeding, pero that;s normal naman sis so no need to worry po. These disappear once the body is used to the Pill. How many months ka na nag te take and what pills if I may ask?

yeah, i also expect breakthrough bleeding nung nag pills ako pero minsan lang pag nag stop ako, pero pag religiously na ako mag take every month nawawala na. YUng bleeding ko parang brownish na pahabol lang sya. Minsan naman parang mens talaga kaya nacoconfuse tuloy ako, pero napansin ko lang yun pag nga humihinto ako.
