I was married to a Filipina and for many reasons it did not work out. I wish to marry again (to another Filipina) and will obtain an anullment from the Catholic Church. This is very easily accomplished since we were not married in the church (civil wedding). She also changed many of the things she told me before we married, making it impossible for the two of us to live together. I want to know if my upcoming marriage will be legal in the PI without a Philippine anullment. I want to be able to live, legally, and own land in The PI and support my wife-to-be and her son. Anullment, what a stupid name for a government issued divorce! I would appreciate direct answers to my e-mail gelynch52@yahoo.com
