Investment is not a matter of timing, its a matter of time..

Para saan ba ang iniipon mo? Kailan mo ba gagamitin?

Peso cost averging is a good stategy if you want to accumulate funds, you can buy different prices every time you invest, whether monthly, quarterly..

What if bumaba ang market after 5 years pa?

    Time is Gold..

Thanks. Based on this, i'm just wondering how din United Equity Fund gave 103.86% total return?

I might invest in : ALFM Growth Fund, Inc 34.52%

Few days lang kasi yung available na data, April 4 to 19. Kaya ang laki nung annualized value. Not even sure kung buhay pa yang fund . Though, nasa list pa rin sa uitf.com.ph pero isang NAVPS entry lang lumalabas. Goodluck!

by the way, is there a mutual fund that you can just put money into online?

For Philequity for example, I make a deposit to the nearest BDO i can find and then fill up their additional investment form and then scan this together with the deposit slip, then send it to Philequity. The steps above can be a bit tedious especially if you only have a few minutes of your lunch time available.

can you give me one specific mutual fund so i can look into it?

    quark,

Sa BPI express online merong Investment section na may Subscribe to MF at UITF. I don't use them kaya dunno how they work at kung anong funds ang available. Pero I'm guessing you can just transfer funds to them.

Sa BPI Trade merong fixed income fund section dati, pero mukhang tinanggal na.

Buying units/shares via BPI Express Online is very convenient. I can do it anytime of the day with a few mouse clicks. By the way I'm subscribed to their UITF balanced and equity funds.

Sir ok ba yung UITF and MF nila? mataas interest? do i need to go to my nominated branch if ever I enroll to their uitf or mf?

^ when my wife asked for their equity fund in their BPI antipolo branch a few months ago, the people there denied that they have that product and instead offered TD. hindi na nangulit si kumander at umalis na lang. their equity funds are doing very well pa naman.

Yes, you have to go to a branch and submit the application forms which you would print and sign after completing the online application process. The investment manager who handled my application also asked me to come back the following day to sign some additional documents. You only have to do this one time. After you are subscribed to their UITF or MF, you can already buy and sell units/shares online anytime.

Unit prices are going up and down rapidly and unpredictably on any given day. That makes it nearly impossible to answer your question regarding interest rates.

She should have asked the manager, ganun din kasi nangyari sa mama kung nag open siya ng MF account. Mukhang maraming bpi branch ang hindi familiar sa sarili nilang products.

As the famous saying goes, a player can win a game but it takes a team to win a championship. This is not only applicable to sports but also in business, mutual funds in particular.

By collecting funds from many investors, it becomes one powerful tool in achieving the same goals of success. Mutual funds provide high level of professional management that individual investor can’t execute.

Here are some of the best benefits that investors can enjoy with mutual funds

Diversification is very vital in all investments. Since the market is very dynamic, risks involve increases. Mutual funds however, reduce risks with diversification by obtaining more shares from different securities of different industries.

Philam Strategic Growth Fund I think is the only MF to beat the market performance in 1Q. I'm planning to invest in UITF but found my portfolio to be quite risky already. Kaya baka magtime deposit na lang muna ako. But given the interest rates, talo pa din eh. What are my other options?
