PSP Downgradable?

Bakit sa mga nakikita kong nagtitinda ng PSP laging nakalagay na downgradable sya? Hindi ba maganda ang latest version ng OS ng PSP? Anu bang version ang maganda at bakit?

As far as I know, di na pwedeng I downgrade yung firmware, unless gaya nung binebenta na naka-indicate na pwede siyang i-downgrade. As for functionality maybe, but I don't think you will loose your browser completely. The new features included in 2.0 will dissappear in 1.5 if there were any.

yung mga lower versions ng psp kasi has custom applications developed by psp users. but personally, i wouldn't recommend it. buying the games is better and easier. more importantly, kung hinde ka computer savvy, useless din ang custom applications sayo since they could brick your psp pagnagkamali ka. if you plan to play downloadable games naman, its essentially a bad idea as well kasi makakatipid ka buying games but you'll need more expensive memory sticks to put them in. the free 32 MB stick is useless. many new games out now also won't play with the lower version psp i think.

you can downgrade most psps, but you run the risk of "bricking" it (or something like that, im not sure what the term is), basically making it useless and just a brick.

yes, theres a chance of you bricking it kaya you have to read the instruction carefully and make sure naiintindihan.

pero ok naman with my psp when i've tried it, ive upgraded and downgraded between 1.5 and 2.0 many times, di naman naging brick ang psp ko

pag 1.5 na sya, you'll need the devhook application to run and emulate firmware 1.5 to 2.71, basically you'll loose some features of 2.x in 1.5 but you'll still be able to use is when you emulated to 2.71.
