Wording for 50th anniversary

I'm making the invitations for my parents' 50th anniversary. My mom really wants me to note on the invite "No wrapped gifts - Money tree available". I really feel that this is inappropriate and I'm looking for other creative ways to let the guests know that my parents don't want a wrapped gift. I tried to convince my mom that we can get the word out through word of mouth but she really wants it on the invite. Any suggestions?

One wedding article that I read about wedding etiquette says it is unethical and rude to put something like ¨we prefer money¨ on the invitation, but, it acceded that time is changing ( so ettiquete changes) so, if you really want to inform your guests that you prefer money, write it in a separate paper or card that you can include with the invitation, but not on the invitation itself.
