deadline ng application for MIS is feb 28 na... habol ka so we could be classmates! hehee! it doesn't matter kung san ang learning center mo kasi wala namang face 2 face sessions... dun ka lang naman kasi pick-up ng module, mag-exam at transact ng business sa learning center... aside from the IVLE, may online community yung mga students kung san tulungan talaga ang bawat isa... PM me lang tapos pa-invite kita for that group...

by the way, majority ng faculty for MIS is from UPLB... yung prof namin sa isang subject last sem is based in UP manila.

BANK PAYMENT THROUGH PHILIPPINE NATIONAL BANK

1. Go to the nearest PNB branch and ask for an Inter-Office Saving/Checking Account Deposit slip
2. Fill-up three (3) deposit slips completely

i. DEPOSITORY OFFICE: PNB UP Los Banos Branch
ii. CREDITED TO THE ACCOUNT NUMBER: 075-800050-8
iii. NAME OF DEPOSITOR: UPOU Revolving Fund
3. Do not forget to write your name, learning center, program, type of payment and semester at the bottom of the slip
4. Submit a duplicate copy (photocopy will not be accepted) of the PNB slip on the registration day. This will be attached to your registration form. Be sure to keep your own copy of the machine-validated deposit slip.

@Verne, you would need to ask the Registrar about that... pero for sure, baka Diploma in Social Work muna ang ipakuha sa iyo, then after grad dun additional units na lang for Master in Social Work... parang ganun din sa Diploma in Computer Science at Master in Information Systems (pag hindi IT-related ang undergrad degree)... same with Professional Teaching Certificate - Diploma in Educ to MA Educ... parang may technique to make the degree ladderized... hehe! ask mo na lang yung registrar... super bait yun, promise....

hi guys. i'm currently working sa isang call center and i already took up an allied course. now im planning to have a career shift to IT. ok kaya enroll ako diploma in CS sa upou and then proceed to take MIS after? what do you suggest? what exactly is Masters in Information Systems? Masteral ba ng IT yun? sorry, i'm just entirely clueless pa. thanks...

@bleep01... i can't say that UPOUAT is easier than UPCAT... 'wag mo naman masyado idegrade ang mga celebrities... anyway, students who take UPCAT but passed it (UPG better than 2.8) is automatically admitted to UPOU... in any case, being admitted in easier than surviving in college..

unfortunately, my work is non-IT, although i used to provide tech support for microsoft before, i believe i just have the basic knowledge.

I'm clueless kasi because I also heard of Phoenix One, the one located in Ortigas. They offer short it courses din where I can just go there every Saturday. Not sure though, if that's gonna be accredited if i apply for a job abroad.

kung more than 2 years ka sa microsoft try mo na rin sa MIS... anyway, madali lang naman ma-admit sa DCS... magUPOU ka na... graduate course din yun, di basta certification... you get to wear sablay din on your graduation... hehe!
