    So what you think?

    I think there is no such thing as true religion, dahil lahat ng relihiyon ay gumawa ng kanya-kanyang pamantayan ng tunay na relihiyon na tumutukoy sa relihiyon na iyon.

    For example the Catholics set that the criteria of true religion is (1) Holy (2)One (3)Cathlic (4)Apostolic and all this criteria pinpoints to Catholicism.

    The Jehovah's Witness also have their own definitions. They have this so called "Difference between Christendom and True Christianity" appeared in one of the issues of magazine "Watchtower" (I forgot what issue) and the characteristics of True Christianity also pinpoints to them...

    So kanino tayo maniniwala? Lahat ng relihiyon sinasabi sila ang totoo?

    "PURE AND UNDEFILED RELIGION before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world."

    Mahirap magsalita, pero I believe that the Supreme being is a "sum of it's parts", everything that there is in this universe is a part of it, and to lose one component would mean non-existence of everything.

    I don't believe the Supreme being will ever communicate with us using our own language(s), because we are part of the Supreme being and it speaks through us, and everything that there is in the universe.

    Most religions today are not after the social welfare and development. But rather, they always collect moneys especially the Iglesia Ni Cristo and the Born Again Groups.

    Iglesia Ni Cristo's doctrine contains this:

    Mayroon silang abuluyan sa Huwebes.

    "Born Again" Groups are these:

    Nanghihingi sila ng pera sa daan. Di mo ba naranasan yan? Sa bus? sa restaurant? sa daan?

    Yeah. I encounter them. Pero hindi ko naman alam kung saan napupunta ang pera. Mahirap na ang humusga! Anyway hindi naman ako nagbibigay sa kanila.

    actually, matagal ko ng iniisip yan. not really coming up with any real answers, but more of "what if's". for example, what if you've been a devout catholic all your life only to realize when you die that the "one true god" is really buddha? would that mean that your whole religious life does not count?

    hmm..

    Talking i think that a religion that is true will be a contradiction in terms!

    religions have always been built upon the very filtered eyes of those who found it so i really cannot see how it can be any closer to the truth than our own personal biases and prejudices and most especially our fears.

    Deus, I've never heard of the word "pantheist" before but if my belief qualifies then I guess I am. You know, I've been born and raised a Roman Catholic... but, as you get at this certain point or level of awareness, weighing in everything that you knew and only kept the things that were "heavy"... it just hits ya.

    There is no true religion if there is no God.

    i believe in the existence of a supreme being ... or GOD.

    religion is another thing ... i don't think there's any one existing ... with the way i percieve all the religion that i know.

    meron kayang parang ... "the church of god for the humanity" ... or parang ganon ang tema?

    Talking the name BUDDHA simply means ONE WHO IS AWAKE!

    the names of the different Gods of the different religions are actually just descriptions of the qualities of God. like the name Buddha simply means ONE WHO IS AWAKE or El Shaddai which means GOD WHO IS MORE THAN ENOUGH. Jesus literally means Fish or Oil (hence his simble is that of the fish) which means the origin or beginning. Yahweh pertains to the four elements that the ancients believed were the comppositon of the known physical universe.
    Y=Yod (fire)
    H=Heh (air)
    V/U=Vau(water)
    H=Heh (earth)

    these four elements the ancients believed, are the broken down element of the fifth element which is ether or akaxha (if i remember it right!).

    Mathematics is like a religion, because you have to have faith in it so as to accomplish anything.
    How can you be sure that 1+1 is really equal to two? You just have to believe.

    No, I think mathematics is more like science, because you can prove that 1+1=2. Unlike religion where you can't prove anything through reason alone, but have to believe by faith.
