masaya sa SSSA... hehehe... abulug, lakay, mayat idiay.. kasapulan da ti engineers sa migration.. migration of business processes from different countries to philippines.. meaning you have to be on site to study the existing process and so you'll have the chance of travelling abroad...
^ Wow! Sounds interesting. Kwento ka naman ng mga ginagawa niyo sa SSSA.
wer can I pass my resume?
Just checked out jobstreet. Looks like theyre looking for people for procurement, accounts receivable, sap material management analysts and finance analysts.
I think you can submit your resume through john clements.
I'll just pass my stuff at Shell House probably Monday.
AF9: Sigurado kang me open, ha? Baka wala...hehehe.![]()
Guys tanong ko lang where do I pass my resume [applying for an ojt/internship program]?
how is the management team here? i applied for a position who will work closely with the GM and other members of the mgmt team. how is the compensation package and benefits?
Well, my package includes 3000 food allowance, 1000 transportation allowance, 5 days vacation leave and 5 days sick leave (i'm still on probation).
After 6 months, I'll get a hospitalization plan, a out-patient plan, a pension plan, a subsidized car loan, 2000 for optical allowance (availed every 2 years), 3 days marriage leave and funeral assistance for either the employee or his/her dependents (knock on wood).
After a year, I'll get 15 days sl and 15 days vl, cash convertible.
As i stated before, the culture is very aligned with other shell companies here in the Philippines. I don't nga understand why so many people think SSSA is primarily a call center. That's only around 10% of what we do, and even then I think it's radically different from what other call centers are use to. SSSA is a shared service company, so that means we really cater to the business processes (accounting, hr transactions) of other shell groups around the world. The concept is similar to Chevron SS, P&G Global Services and HP's IT services. Kaya the recruitment process is also different from what call centers normally do. And yes, it's Shell, not an outsourced company or whathaveyou.
Anyway, so far so good naman here, hehehe.![]()
AF9: Nakalimutan ko pala...cadet engineer or yung trainee ang inaaply-an ko, ha? Sensya na kung makulit ako, kasi embarrasing ang mag-apply ng personal only to find out na wala palang bukas na trabaho.
radishman, thank you for the reply. how about the base pay itself? how would you compare it with other SS companies? or with IT companies?
one other factor that would be a major consideration for me if ever is that it's night shift. i am accustomed to working long hours and have gone overnight at work on several occasions, pero iba pa rin kung yun na talaga ang regular working hours. how difficult/different is it going to be if you're work is night shift?
^ Yun! Sige, I'll give it a shot this Monday!
Salamat!
