it's a subtle way of asking for an "advance commission"
    by collectors.

after you pay, sasabihin sa iyo:
    " sorry, disapproved eh".
    what will you do now?

    NEVER deal with collectors,
    whatever promises they make.
    there is no guarantee.

    go personally to the bank.
But if they wont entertain you,
    wait for the court.
same thing will happen - negotiation
but at least formal, legal and fair.
(if they are serious, they will file a collection case
and not merely refer you to third parties)

I have a colleague who claims to have defaulted on two credit cards before. She settled them, but that was after receiving several demand letters from collecting agents. She managed to obtain another credit card from another bank after about a year. Now, those 2 same banks she has defaulted several years ago are offering her another of their credit cards. Does that mean her name was not put on CMAP? Even though she has defaulted (though she has settled them after years of ignoring the demand letters and the collecting agents) her previous credit cards with them? Thanks.

    Question advice plssss....

i have around 37k worth of credit card debt sa MBTC.. since ndi anko nakakabayad, they offerred a settlement scheme wherein i have to pay them a certain amount monthly for 36 mos. ok naman ske un coz i really wanna pay may debt naman. what bothers me is that they asked me to sign a contract. Bale 2 docs un..one is entitled PROMISSORY NOTE while the other one is DISCLOSURE STATEMENT ON LOAN/CREDIT TRANSACTION plus theyre asking me to submit one month payslip and ID. Im afraid na baka pag pinirmahan ko *** docs and submit ko sa kanila eh they'd have a way to sue me in court if ever ndi ko matuloy tuloy *** pagbabayad in 3 years.

    Kindly advise pls.

    P.S.
This came from Metrobank company itself.

    Thank you.

    1. request for an updated statement of account duly signed by an authorized signatory of the bank;
    2. review for possible waiver/reduction ( of charges)
    3. agree on repayment terms and conditions
    4. document it ( Restructuring Agreement, not a promissory Note)

can you afford the monthly amortization?
if not, it's useless. you will just default again
    if you/they insist.

Looking only at a payslip wont tell you much.
it's the disposable income that will.

    HTH.

    go personally to the bank
    and follow the procedures
    given to mktg guy.

    if nothing happens,
tell them to meet you in court
( SCC lang yan, lawyers not allowed )
same thing will happen - tawaran.

but your interest will be reduced to 12% per annum
cheaper than the 3.5% + 6% being charged by them.
    ( per month!)

    Need your help/advice pexers.

My mom used to have 3 credit cards. Lahat yun, unpaid ngayon at tingin ko Php100,000++ each plus interest pa (Or more) . More than 2 years na yata.

Pwede bang tawaran yung utang? Hindi na isama ang interest? Hindi ko na alam dapat gawin ngayon. ='(

  17. #917
    banks? no
    collectors? yes.
they will simply give you a letter or a 1/4 sxxxt of paper
    to call "atty. ek-ek otherwise...."
    simply receive it.
    pirmahan from top to bottom.
    then forget it.
( it's an extortion letter anyway)

  18. #918
I am led to the impression that it is okay hindi mo bayaran yung credit card kasi walang makukulong.....

    La Guy,

    If you have defaulted cards,
go to the bank personally and
    arrange.
this way, you will have a better
grasp of what I was trying to say.
