raymund is in sandwich, right?
trinity: yupyup!and theyre one hot band, with Marc Abaya in the mikes
for me, i guess the E-heads are just taking time-out from the band thing and try to do their own stuff, like what ely buendia and raymund marasigan did...i dont think they will break up in the near future coz in some ways, they're still at the their peak of success...oh well...
Oo nga eh! Haven't heard a news about the group.
actually, the eheads are recording now.
and while ely has his solo project and raimund has sandwich, i think they're pretty much supportive of each other's endeavors. buddy is also producing too. (i don't know what marcus is up to). as far as i know, priority ni raimund ang eheads over sandwich when it comes to gigs (more eheads songs to learn for the sessionist, as opposed to sandwich's lineup).
in any case, i just saw the eheads perform last Friday, and i had a look at their gig sched, and they've been busy, in and out of Manila.
a friend told me they're off to US for a tour and they're currently recording an album.
sorry kng nagkamali ako kasi palagi kong napagbabaligtaran yung cheese at sandwhich. pero bat nung may gig sila nung rockology sa ateneo wala si raimund doon?
the Rockology gig with Ciudad and Sheila and the Insects? Raimund was there -- he even jammed with Ciudad.Originally posted by Blshvk

ely's going solo... the end of the eraserheads.
oo nga, buti nalang they're not breaking up.
sabi ni ely yun eh.
siguro it only goes to show that you can't get too attached with someone, kasi asawa, kahit friend, mas lalo na kung ka-trabaho mo. everyone needs space. kailangang mapag-isa yung tao no?
nakakainis, si ely may asawa't anak na pala. HMp!
saan kaya yun nakatira sa UP. mapuntahan nga.=)
Rockology na host ng NU last august. iba nga yung drummer nila eh. late pa nga si ely eh.Originally posted by Cala

yup. august 25th. i know, coz that was our anniv gig date, and that's why i had to leave before the eheads' set. and i'm pretty sure i was talking to raimund then... baka may naki-jam. anyway, it's no biggie.Originally posted by MIP13

You can listen to a sample right there. Looks like he's going the electronica route?
Sometimes siguro, a band has to go into other mediums for their talents, kaya nga Ely has released a dolo album while Raymund is in Sandwich.
Medyo iba na rin ang music ng E'heads noong huli, marami masyadong efects, may pagka-techno pa. A far cry from their early music. Call it improvement, coz i dont know what to make of it.
Yes... definitely. Call it improvement, call it maturity, call it experimentation.
Galing nila. The Beatles didn't stagnate, so why should they?
