So to answer you question: no.
Thanks. When I checked Unilab's website, me vacancy for an accountant. CPA yung kapatid ko and in the process of job hunting. Sabi ko baka me ruling na bawal magkamag-anak in the same company; ibalato na lang nya sa akin Unilab kasi ang field ko biomedical research. di pa kasi tapos thesis ko kaya di pa ako makapag-apply.

    BTW, me uniform ba?

    Thanks ulit

My cousin would like to that accountant post but she has no idea on what the salary range is.

wala ding difference between single and married employees. like i said, kung ano ang nakasaad sa batas, yun lang ang ide-deduct ng unilab.
hmmm leela what i mean is mas malaki ang tax ng single kesa married.. kahit naman san ganon..

^yes, may uniform. every two years ang palit ng uniform for women. every year yata for men.

    toryangski

^^nope, uso ang nepotism dito (in a good way). we prefer na referred ng kaibigan/kakilala/kamag-anak yung mga potential recruits because we feel na may mas malasakit sila sa kumpanya kung nandito ang pamilya mo.

i've seen fathers/mothers who retired and pinasok nila yung anak nila dito. we don't frown on that practice. in fact, we welcome it.

lostsoul, we don't normally follow a certain benchmark for salaries. we do pero at the end of the day, it's all about the competence.

thanks again. personally, mas gusto ko may uniform. natototxic kasi ako mag-isip ng isusuot e.

BTW, regarding yung sinabi mo na its all about competence does this mean the salary is directly proportional to an applicant's qualification? meaning graduate degree = better salary?

  8. #68
^likely na pag may graduate degree ka, mas mataas ang suweldo mo. additional credentials kasi yun, eh. the same way na pag galing ka sa malalaking companies, likely din na malaki ang sweldo mo.

salaries in unilab are basically negotiable so you have to make a case why you deserve X amount of salary. ang alam ko lang na may set salary is for the med reps. above basic ata yun. the rest comes in bonus, other benefits.

  11. #71
good day! may i please what are the positions in unilab, and pfizer ? my work experience are all finance related.

    thank you

  12. #72

  13. #73
    any openings at unilab now?

  14. #74

I am working for the number 1 global pharmaceutical company in the world...Pfizer.

Put it this way, ang tingnan nyo yung total renumeration package. and you'll see that Pfizer is one of the best.

healthcare 750k per annum including your dependents, free medicines (pfizer meds), car plan, per diem allowances, 15th month bonuses, cba bonus. mabilis na increase, dahil bukod sa annual increase, may performance, may merit etc etc etc. incentive trips, cellphone. madmi pang iba.

    try nyo mag Pfizer

My friend works as a designer/project coordinator but on a contractual basis. She's working there for more than a year now and I haven't heard any complaints so far. She also has a lot of free samples of their products such as Myra-E and PH Care.

I agree. i worked for this company for 15 months. but my post is a project based post. no chance to get regularize. I tried to apply for a regular post but unfortunately I failed to get that post. They prefer a board passer if your course has board exam. Salary is not that high but what you will appreciate here is the working environment, people you work with, work-life balance program and freebies & benefits.
