Hi leela,
Unilab HR just called me for a QA inspector position. Sabi nya, nabrowse nya resume ko sa databank. Is this a regular position? Scheduled na ako for interview next week sa Mandaluyong (near Edsa Central and Pioneer Centre daw). Ano kaya range ng salary nito? I am currently working as QA sa isang cosmetics company. I haven't resigned so isa sa mga considerations ko talaga is 'yung salary (na sana comparable or mas mataas sa current pay ko). Shifitng din ba ang sched for this post? Thanks in advance sa info!

^sorry i can't answer your questions. i can assume lang that it is a regular position kasi mga regular ang QA inspectors dito.

as for salary, well, i can tell you that hindi mataas ang basic salary namin. above industry average pero probably not as high as foreign multinationals. ang talagang ayos sa unilab is the bonuses dahil we are guaranteed 17.5 months. managers and up go as high as 21 months ata.

so nasa sa iyo yun kung ang habol mo lang is monthly salary. sa amin kasi super happy kami sa bonuses, eh.

working environment is great. i posted it here na din, backread lang ng konti. people are great, too. may occasional politics like in any office pero hindi kasi gaya ng foreign multinationals ang unilab na dog-eat-dog. cool lang kami.

hindi norm sa unilab ang OT. you can render OT but probably 75% of the office-based employees leave work on time. tipong pag 5:30 na, fly na lahat. ang usual na OT sa office are audit/finance peeps or mga secretaries na nandun pa sa office ang boss nila or brand managers. sa manufacturing, ganun din. ang usual na nago-OT is mga nasa line kasi di pa tapos ang production ng gamot.

we value work-life balance kasi sa unilab, eh. masama sa kalusugan ang sobrang OT.

Hi leela.. my husband applied in Unilab for a engineering post. However when they called him mahina yung signal so hindi sila magkarinigan. My husband tried to call them but same scenario. The day after, he got an email na from unilab saying he didnt pass.. ganon ba ****? hindi na yun idispute?

QA for CIT department? I know their range hehe. IPI or Primetech or Globalquest ang agency mo?

@leela - sorry, baka nga hehe. mam unilab main po ba kayo? ang ok sa UL, daming girls eh hehe. lalo na yung 4 beauties nang HR hehe.

so far, mas masaya pa rin ang Unilab compared dito sa Pfizer. although hindi rin naman stressful dito.

pero namimiss ko na rin kasi yung 15 pesos lunch and free parking ko diyan sa UL hahaha.
