UST raised its NMAT requirement already to 85th percentile.

pwede ang De La Salle-Health Sciences Campus if you dont mind going to Dasmariñas to study there. De La Salle Philippines should set up a med school with a partner hospital here in Metro Manila.

In my opinion, De La Salle should just focus on developing their current medical school located in Dasma. Nothing wrong with a school that's not located in the NCR. If a school is good, it certainly is worth the trip.

I would rather put them in tiers:

    Tier 1 - UP Manila

Tier 2 - UST and Cebu Institute of Medicine (CIM)

    Tier 3 - UERM, FEU-NRMF, Cebu Doctor's University and DLSU-Dasma

    Tier 4 - St. Luke's, MSU-Iligan, Xavier, Angeles University Foundation and SLU-Baguio.

    For me:
1st: UST Faculty of Medicine and Surgery & UP College of Medicine
2nd: FEU-NRMF Institute of Medicine and the St. Lukes College of Medicine

I haven't seen the board passing rates of FEU and St.Lukes.

    - 90% of my UST MedTec batchmates went to UST-FMS.
    - Some went to St. Lukes because of full scholarship grants.
    - While waiting for their slots in UST-FMS, others already secured slots in FEU-NRMF and UERMM.
    - Some preferred to be in UERMM rather than in FEU.
    - I know one who resorted to PLM College of Medicine

There is no cut-off in the NMAT when you're a Thomasian graduate in UST-FMS. In case of my batch, many chose to have their Medicine in UST because 2011 is our graduation year! Not only because it is the quadricentennial year celebration of UST, but by that time, the New UST Hospital with all its world-competitive innovation is already serving the Filipinos and moreover, the needy. The UST-Santa Rosa campus, which is primarily established to support the UST sciences, will definitely give the UST Faculty of Medicine and Surgery added resources in terms of research, training, and manpower.

I have high hopes for the newly founded Ateneo School of Medicine and Public Health. If UP-CM has their UP-PGH, UST-FMS has their USTH, Ateneo has the Medical City. Fabbilioh Ateneo!

LaSalle's Medicine program isn't bad for me, the program has produced topnotchers recently.

Your lack of eloquence and inability to give concrete and meaningful examples to prove a point surely strengthen the argument that UP is superior to UST.

    Much obliged.
dont look to ust people for brilliance.

    you will be sorely disappointed.

expect them to be mediocre and they will make you happy.
