Natatakot lang kasi ako minsan, hindi ko nga pinapansin wala pa rin akong nararamdaman.. that's the time when I panic again kasi alam kong I'm not thinking about it anymore pero I still can't feel anything pero as you said nga.. it's not going to happen overnight

    Yes it does not happen overnight, it takes time so be patient and do not get obsessed about being cured as fast tomorrow or next week because that is not going to happen.

    The treatment for anxiety disorder is slow because it is like a deep wound that takes time to heal.

    Anyway, keep us updated about your progress when you see the psychologist. You can also help us, as well as other anxiety sufferers by posting your experience here. Thank you for sharing experience.

    In my case, if I leave my anxiety/DP untreated, will it get worse or will it stay ? Or if I just accept it and won't mind it completely it would go away in time?

    Kasi minsan kahit hindi ko na sya pinapansin di ko mafeel na bumabalik na feelings ko.. Pasulpot-sulpot lang minsan pero mawawala agad..ganun..

    It depends on the personality of the sufferer, if you are like me who is obsessed about the symptoms of anxiety, then it needs to be treated as soon as possible because it would bet worst.

    If you are the type of person who has a very positive outlook in life and just goes on with life, then kahit no treatment at all, time itself will be the cure.

    3 years na ako nagsusuffer nito 24/7 up to now madami na ako napuntahan na doctor pero until now wala parin.di na ako makapagwork dahil sa kalagayan ko.

    nagtataka pa ako for 3 months nabawasa ako ng 60 pounds?at hindi ako masyado makakain di ko talaga alam kung anxiety ba ito or something else.papatest na nga ako for autoimmune disorder e.kasi ang hilo ba kasama sa panic attack or anxiety?at yun bang mga yon talagang nagtatagal ng buong araw?

    i'm a panic attack sufferer and anxiety sufferer. First, anxiety is parang irrational fear yan or pagkatakot sa mga events or bagay. If you worry too much about everything then you have GAD or Generalized Anxiety Disorder. Usually, Panic Attack is often caused by GAD. Sooner or later, anyone with GAD will have Panic Attacks. Panic Attack is always caused by none other than STRESS and excessive worrying.

    Panic Attack is a symptom because of too much anxiety. Think of panic attack as "boiling water". it is the way the body releases excessive anxiety. If you worry too much and fear to much about everything you will come to a point na sa sobrang worry or fear you will have Panic Attack.

    Panic Attack is a period kung saan sobra kang matatakot, sobrang magpapalipitate ang puso mo, sweating, tapos manlalambot yung tuhod mo na parang mahihimatay and for me ang pinaka-nakakatakot na sintomas ng panic attack is yung mag-ba-BLACKOUT ka for 1 - 2 seconds na parang mahihimatay ka at mawawala sa sarili or feels like you are going crazy ( pero di naman ako hinihimatay feeling lang ). Panic Attack usually takes 1 minute to 15 minutes. It rarely lasts 30 minutes kasi automatic shutdown naman yung body natin kaya it would reset everything until you calm down. Meron talagang cases na nahihimatay yung tao because of panic attack but it is rare, dun yun sa mga taong nagha-hyperventilate when they have panic attacks.

    Now, if you often experience Panic Attacks, let say once week or more, ang tawag na dito is Panic Disorder specially kung takot ka na lumabas ng bahay because of the fear of another panic attack. Pag takot ka na lumabas ng bahay then you have Agorapobhia. This is normal for panic attack sufferers that is why until now, lumalabas lang ako ng bahay na may kasama.

    It takes time to heal Panic Attacks and usually takes longer to heal if you already have Agoraphobia or fear of going outside and in public places.

    Anti-anxiety Meds and Anti-depressants are good to calm you up a bit BUT NEVER DEPEND ON THEM.

    The best treatment for Anxiety Disorders and Panic Disorders is of course THERAPY like CBT and MBCT. Kasi you have to REWRITE or REPOGRAM your brain to relax. Medications won't help in the lung run and the side-effects can even make your life hell.

    If you want referral to a Clinical Psychologist who offers CBT and MBCT just PM me. It is more expensive than medications but it last longer and NO Side Effects.

    Panic Attack and Panic Disorder DOES NOT literally mean na nag-PAPANIC or nagiging Hysterical yung tao.

    If you have those symptoms that i have described above. then you may have Panic Attack and/or Panic Disorder.

    Do you have sudden episodes of bigla ka na lang matatakot ng sobra ? In some persons its the sensation that they are going to die.

    Do you have episodes that your mind blacks-out as if mahihimatay ka ?

    Do you have episodes where your heart suddenly beats so fast and beats so hard ?

    Do you worry too much about everything ?

    With regards to Panic Attack. It does not happen 24/7. The worst yata is that it can only happen like 3 to 5 times a day but not always.

    Ang continous is General Anxiety, depends kung gaano kalala yung Anxiety mo but it can happen 24/7. Pero it is easy to know if you have anxiety because makikita mo yan sa iniisip mo. If you have anxiety, you will usually have negative thoughts, afraid too much, worries too much.

    Pero i also know someone na merong anxiety na wala naman siyang mga negative thoughts or fears. Bigla na lang siyang mahihilo then palpitate yung puso then sobrang matatakot.

    i'm not so sure if it anxiety. Usually kasi ang Anxiety and Panic Attacks have "psychological symptoms" meaning to say it affects the way you feel and the way you think.

    Anxiety Disorders like Panic Attack/Panic Disorder have to do so something about the way we think and feel. Which means that anxiey sufferers have physically normal brain and nerves but they are just very sensitive. So kahit anong gawing physical examination sa taong may anxiety, it would all give NORMAL results wether it is CT Scan, EEG, ECG etc.

    in your case it is all physical symptoms. Please go to a Neurologist for proper evaluation. you may have some "physical" problems with your nerve or brain. some routine medical test may detect what is your ailment. you also said that you are overweight, so this might be also causing problems.

    Diagnosed ako for anxiety an panic disorder! Ang hirap hirap! Actually suportve nmn ang husband ko nga lang msydo ako maarte! Buntis ako ***** 4.5 mo. Tpos bgla may panic attack so *** bawal ang meds nagtatake ako pero ok *** daw sbi dr, pang 3rd baby ko na to ganun din ako sa 1st and 2nd actually mas mlala p sa 1st child, pero thank God very normal at matatalino naman! Nhrapan *** uli ako ***** as in hirap n hirap! Anyone n kagaya ko ng situation?

    Ang first consultation s psych is 1500 then 2nd is 1k per visit! Mahal pati gamot mahal! Ang attack ko is lging hyperventillation! Nagpapatingin din ako s albularyo sabay sabay lahat! Omg! **** albularyo mahal n din!
    Gsto ko magptingin ky dr randy dellosa. ** daw ang psych ng mga artista? Kso inisip ko baka mas mahal lalo! Pls help me!

    I've been reading your symptoms. I don't think you have anxiety disorder. Your symptom is lightheadedness (not vertigo). Lightheadedness has many causes. When your doctor could not find a cause of your symptoms, then he would diagnose it as stress-related, which is the fall-back position. I think yours is not, although the physical source is not found yet. Also, you need to tell the doctor that your anxiety meds are causing severe side effects. I think he should have the anxiety meds stopped.

    A significant cause of lightheadedness is heart problem. Has your doctor made cardiological tests on you? EKG, stress test? How about sleep apnea?

    its definitely not a good idea na magpatingin sa albularyo.

    if you are also suffering from scary thoughts and worrying too much, you need a therapist who specializes in CBT and MBCT. just PM me for the name of the doctor.

    kung ang problema mo is hyperventilation, heart palpitation lang, you may not a therapist depending on your case. all you need is psychoeducation (educate yourself that anxiety will not kill you like in a heart attack) and Relaxation exercises everyday like Yoga, Meditation, Deep Breathing.

    Randy Dellosa is very expensive from what i know.

    yup nag stress test na nga ako e nung 2009 kaso umayaw ako kasi bruce protocol hindi ko kinaya.yup lightheadedness talaga pakiramdam ko minsan pa nga heavy head pa.parang kulang ng dugo pagdaloy sa ulo ko.ng carotid duplex scan na ako.di pa ako nag ekg kaso bukas papadiagnostic na ako

    Yes! Nagpunta ako ky randy dellosa! He's good tska mtyaga kc nung inacupuncture nya ko may mga hollistic massage pa! Pero sbi nia ang cbt daw kc is not for my case, kumbaga pag nasa stage k ng super panic ndi akma ang cbt ***,
    I told him na *** pregnant ako pinapainom ako ng other psych ko ng gamot. He's dr. Anselmo tronco. Ok *** namn daw lc talagang kailangan ko dhl kng hrap ako mas hirap daw c baby!
    Anyway prof n randy dellosa c dr anselmo tronco:-)dats y parang he agrees nlng din:-)
    This past 2 days medyo ok nko nagagawa ko n *** normal routine ko! Thank God!
    I take med, massage theraphy everyday! Really helps! Tpos ag d mktulog ulit ulit *** ng rosary!

    If you hyperventilate, you will take in too much oxygen, which in turn will cause dizziness and even chest pain, thus causing more anxiety.

    A home remedy is not to breathe in too much oxygen during hyperventilation episode. This can be done by breathing into a small paper bag (like bag for bread). This way, you breathe back in some of your carbon dioxide. The rythmic movement of the bag also helps you reduce your too-fast breathing. If there are no bags, you may use your cupped hands formed like a hollow ball and you breathe into it.

    first timer here guys,be good to me ) within the past month parang palagi akong anxious,lahat ng bagay winoworry ko,tapos d ako makadecide,parang na impair na ang decision making skills ko,i dont know kung burnt out lang ako sa work ko(callcenter) plus yung existing living condition ko which parang too crowded na,super moody ako always,kung d ko trip mamansin ayoko talaga,then sakit ng batok ko,shoulders,d naman ako highbllod,super aga pa akong magising(mga 2 am even day off na)..mas gusto ko nagstay nalang sa house,lagi na akong absent,inaisolate ko sarili ko,parang nasusuka na ako sa work ko,natatakot ako na d ko alam,nagwoworry ako ng kung anu-anu.though alam ko naman makakahanap ako ng work agad,nagwowory pa rin ako,kahit magsubmit ng resignation parang d ko kaya..anu ba to?do i need to a psychiatrist na?yung mama ko kasi may panic disorder din,hereditary ba yun?thanks guys
