nahirapan din ako nung una sa pagbabudget. akala ko we will be needing more than what we have pero later on as we prioritize the more important details, ayun nagkasya naman. sa amin kasi, number one is of course, food. syempre ayaw namin makakarinig ng bad comments about the food sa araw ng wedding namin. you can scrimp on other details. sa make up nga, my mom suggested na ako na lang yung ayusan ng make up artist since ako nga naman ang dapat na pinakamganda sa araw na yun. i thought kasi before na bayaran namin pati hair and make up ng entourage but that's not really necessary since my mom knows how to put make up on my sibs, and that my female entourage, all of them have jobs and they can afford to have their hair and make up done in a salon.
invites naman can be made 'do-it-yourself' with the help of some free templates available on the net which are ready to be printed at home. di na importante kung hindi sparkly or di mabango yung card na ginamit as long as buong puso mong ini invite ang taong gusto mong maka witness sa kasal mo (hehe.. tipid talaga).
photo and video - you can hire their service muna. pag may budget na, saka na magpagawa ng album.
damit ko - syempre lahat tayo ayaw magsuot ng first hand use na gown. guilty pleasure ko syempre kaya may allotted budget talaga kami for this. though hindi sya gagawin ng kilalang designer at isang hamak na suking modista lang namin, i would really love to walk down the aisle wearing my dream wedding gown.
souvenirs = dami jan sa divisoria. creativity will go a long way.
