Guest nga sa intrams namin sila Bal, Noli and Marlou, too bad di ko sila nakita.
Pwedeng Santolan, Pasig yung last station sa LRT-2 kung from Recto.
UST won that game.
One of the fastest players in PBA History. Idol ko talaga yang si Bal David and Marlou Aquino ganda nung tandem nila.
More than being a great guard during an era of other great PG's (Abbarientos, Racela, Pumaren, Esplana, etc) ...... Bal David together with Aquino, Locsin, Hizon, Jarencio, etc was mainly responsible for bringing back the excitement in the PBA during the mid-90's.
One of the rare PG who regularly slashes inside aside from decent his outside shot.
IIRC his game dipped when his other teammates where shipped off Ginebra one-by-one & the SMC boys took over the coaching staff. Finally, had to retire due to nagging injuries.
OT: Bal David was a funny guy ..... had some laughs with this guy during High School.
sya lang ata ang PG na dalawang steps bago mag dribble...what i mean is yung typical player dribdle ng dribble kada step while bringing the ball...eh saya dalawang step muna bago mag dribble kaya mabilis. fave shot nya na madalas kong makita is drive sa harap ng basket then pull up jumper, hinito nya nung nasapal na sya, hahaha.
bal david in his prime is as good as other great point guards during that decade such as abarrientos, racela, pumaren, etc. plus he is fast and can play in pressure situation. the problem is aside from his nagging injuries, from the looks of it he never felt comfortable to the style of rhino salazar and allan caidic's coaching because jaworski allows him to do his thing without forgetting his duties as the starting point guard while the two just put him on a strafe jacket while listening to their system that doesn't benefit his game after all.
