DLSU-CSB: NCAA 2000 Champions

Everybody thought we were the lamest team in the league. We were the ones who are stepped on.
Nobody thought we would make it to the top.
Amidst the setbacks, we proved them wrong.

We are the NCAA 2000 CHAMPIONS - The College of Saint Benilde.

Since our debut in 1997, we were cosidered as the underdogs and had no potential for stardom. No team took us seriously. We were not considered as contenders.

All the hardwork, the swallowing of pride, the countless hours of training and practice and the pies in the face paid of as we brought seven other colleges to their knees. Look who' laughing now?

When you look at the top, the only college you will see is the CSB BLAZERS!

We are savoring every minute of our victory.
We are preparing for next years war.
But one thing is for sure.

We can repeat the feat!

All I could say is congrats to the Blazers. They deserved to win despite all the odds were against them.

I share the happy sentiment as a proud Benildean. After 3 years of the humiliation we've suffered, we're finally enjoying the blessings it brings.

It's only but normal to feel the pride rushing in...and celebrate our victorious moments after finally winning the NCAA championship. We intend to abide by the Biblical passage, "Those who exalts themselves will be humbled by the Lord; those who humbles themselves will be thus exalted." The victory we got is only preparing us for a more difficult battle.

To preempt those who might perceive us as major braggarts (with past experiences here I'm sure there will be many)....hey, we're not! This is our very first time to win, and we're trying to handle this victory with the best way possible.

Hey, you even surpassed a "record" of your brothers in Taft. Although the Archers' first finals appearance was also in their third year of participation in the UAAP, they lost against the gigantic Ateneo lineup.

Your first finals was also on your third year of participation in the NCAA, but this time the Green and White (and Black) squad were victorious.

It seems that there are a lot of Benildeans posting here. I was wondering if you ever thought that we could be passing by each other in the corridors of Benilde, Duerr, Mutien or Solomon.

I'm quite tempted to know who you guys and girls are. But would it spoil everything if we do get to meet.

What do you think?

oo nga blazerman...sana magkaroon ng eb...para naman next year, huge support ang makuha ng CSB sa NCAA...and of course para magkakakilala na tayong lahat di ba? para masaya...baka may mga cute girls dito, available pa naman ako...
