ideal age for death

my english literature prof told me that many great people died at the age of 33. why? i don't have any idea.

in any case, i want to die before i reach the age sixty. i have this passion for youth. i find the thought of letting it go very morbid.

Many great people also lived past that age. Gandhi and Mother Theresa surely weren't 33 when they died

But on a more serious note, I believe people can achieve enlightenment faster than others can, in that they found out exactly who they are and what their purpose is, within their lifetime. Whether they chose to live and teach others of that enlightened state is their prerogative. Jesus Christ chose to teach it, but he didn't quite live that long... Gandhi spent his entire life doing it.

The ideal age for death for me would be the time when you have finally accomplished all the goals that you have set out to do, you've made a good impact on the lives of those around you, when you look back and see that you have made something worthwhile of the life you're given, and if death comes for you the next day, you would have no regrets for the way you've lived.

I think there will never be an ideal age to die. When you accomplish goals you've set, new goals will always take their place. But, if my time comes, I would be probably be thankful if I have given my best in everything, if I have tried to accomplish tasks with all my heart, and if I have loved and have been loved back. Well, that's a 'probably'...
