    To start it off:

I am a native of Calintaan, Occidental Mindoro (that is why I am using calintaan as my username).
    Male; 22 years old.
I am currently on my senior year taking up Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Business Management at De La Salle University - College of Saint Benilde.

Way back when I was still a college freshman, medyo nahihirapan akong mag-adjust dito sa Manila. I know a lot of you have gone and still is going through this experience. Hope through this thread, we can share experiences and learn from them. We can give advice and tips for those who need it. Simple as it seems, but I can feel that we can make a big difference out of this. This will be for our individual benefits and eventually for the good and prosperity of our Province.

    Sana, maraming mga taga-mindoro rito.

Wow! I am very surprised! Twice a year lang ako kung makauwi sa probinsiya natin so I don't have that much news for you. Villarosa as Congressman.

Hello Mindoreņos! I'm not actually from Mindoro but my Mom.
She is from the island of Cabra in Lubang, Occidental Mindoro. We belong to the clan of Tameta's. My lola is an Alegre. Ang laki na ng pinagbago ng Cabra (they call it Pu-lo). The last time I went there was in 1990 when my lolo died. As in parang Boracay. Hehe.

BTW, I'm 22, from Mkna, M, and currently taking up MS Marketing from DLSU-Mla.

    Have a nice day!

One thing I like so much about Oriental Mindoro is their fruits - lansones, rambutan at sinturis/dalanghita.

Change topic: I usually borrow books from the library of the main campus kasi mas kumpleto. You never know, baka minsan nakasalubong na kita hindi ko lang alam na ikaw na pala iyon...o baka naman nakatabi na pala kita noong nanood ako ng opening ng UAAP.

Congratulations to our dear ARCHERS and BLAZERS !!!

    ANIMO!!! till next time...

Actually, I've never been to Cabra pero ang sinasabi mong "Pulo" ay matagal ko ng naririnig. If you happen to go to Manila via Batangas, madadaanan ng barko ang Pulo. Tama ka, very isolated talaga.

If you have anything to say or ask, please share it with us and let us know. thanks!

and here i thought na mas masaya siguro sa occidental...

    simmie,

I guess, ganoon talaga siguro. Parang mayroon kang pattern na sinusunod wherein once in a while you feel na nakakasawa na rin and you are finding ways to sowehow unwind and take a break.

Ako naman, I'm looking for a more challenging life. Yun bang palagi kang busy. Sa probinsya kasi, walang masyadong pinagkakaabalahan.

Hope we can see each other soon.

Okay ba yun?
