yo AB! geez i never knew there was a thread hehe, i shouldn't have posted the other one hehe lemme repost that **** i did:

top ten traxx that ive been spinning lately:

Bob Sinclar - Darlin' (Brian Tappert / Funk Connection Mixes) (Defected UK)
What can i say?!?! Bob Sinclar went major, and his tracks always keep the girls moving what else do ya need? hehe been playing this track since march and its one of my favorite crowd puller at the moment.

Warren Clarke feat. Kathy Brown - Over You (ATFC Mix) (Defected UK)
Highly infectious track...love the background, definitely a crowd pleaser!

Lost N Found - Feel Free (Gossip Records)
got this off the rack...lots of recall especially the trumpet and guitars on top

Branvan 3000 - Astounded (Demon/ Eric Kupper Mixes) (Virgin Records)
For those of you who don't know about BV3, they fuse trip-hop with electronic ambience and indie-rock attitude. A must !

Audio Soul Project - Tectonic Blur EP (NRK)
sooo deep i almost got drowned hehe :P

Bel Amour - Bel AMour (Hydrogen Rockers/Milk & Sugar/Kluster Mixes) (Credence)
frenchy filtered funky music....the stuff i love to play

Phats & Small - This Time Around (Ext/Bel Amour Mixes) (Multiply)
summer is over but this choon really fits that time of the year...discoey!

Soul Dujour - Here We Go Again (Live Element Mixes) (Stricly Rhythm US)
daft punk's one more time copycat? infectious groove on the background with some coder on its vocals

Roger Sanchez - Another Chance (Defected UK)
this one came out on the Promo Only listing for July... Toto's Won't Hold You Back sampling on the background...i had enuff of revivals but this one is an exception...ah yes its roger sanchez hehe

Joey Negro pres Raw Essence - Do You Love What You Feel Inside (Original Joey Negro Mix) (2 Records)
man i just love the old skool feeling of this track...reminds me of the track "give me just a lil more time" way back.

its nice to see guys like you AB who's into this type...im gonna showcase just some of the above traxx on saturday since a couple of them we're a bit old already on someone's ear. I might drop by Porch on friday...ill just ***

  5. #65

    Thumbs up

I'll be seeing you on friday. I have to kill patch for the time being since he can't spin on friday or saturday. Either way, I'll grab some of his cd's and burn them...literally!

What do you think about Mikoid's suggestion on the Pex anniversary on Sept.?

I heard one or two songs from the track and I'm definitely intrigued by that music that sounds like Daft Punk. I've heard about it through patch and he seems to enjoy spinning Darlin and that song too!

    Keep the Music Flowing!

hi AB! yup, its ok with me as long as there is no conflict on any of my sched...besides i want us if in case it'll push thru, to turn that anniversary into a "house party" hehe, u know the stuffs that we both love to play. i never knew numbereight was patch haha...ive been playing soul dujour...its getting some attention nowadays but i know itll be another fad again after a few weeks...ill drop by friday about 10:30...i just have to leave early....by the way, what's pointblank? a DJ group?

the party at glorietta which was supposed to be on saturday was totally cancelled this month due to unexpected bad weather that we have been experiencing for the last few days...it was moved to July 28...flyers are still being reprinted. anyway, ill keep everyone posted and *** again this friday.

    Are this ahouse music?

(House of Pain) - Jump Around [Cypress Hill remix]
Gigi D'Agostino - I'll Fly With You (WILD 94.9 mix)
Mitsubishi - The Wiseguys - START THE COMOTION

  8. #68

    Cool

    UST,
I dunno about the second one but definitely, House of Pain and Wiseguys' music aren't house music. The second one (me thinks or guess) is trance. House music is more of funky, groovy and not so far from disco sound.

so wht are does music... kala ko disco music sila eh... napapasayaw kasi ako pag-naririnig ko

  10. #70

    Cool

Because they are under the category of Dance Music which is more general. House Music used to be underground when Disco died in the 80's reborn with more Bass beat (a lot of thumping when you're near a speaker but it's more steady, just the right speed like Disco unlike Trance or Techno).

disco kendi is also good..quite old..i got the first Disco Kendi CD last year pa but still pretty interesting. i'm a big fan of deep house(obvious for my affinity towards the Deeper compilation and most music from the Naked Music group) though.

    Cool

Is Disco Kandi 4 any better from the 1-3 cds? It hasn't reached the music stores here but a friend of mine is burning it right now for me in chicago.

Oh yeah, I love listening to Naked Music too!

disco kendi 4 is good, you can't really go wrong with good compilations anyway.

now, naked music is fantastic. when i saw madonna in concert, the naked music people were the ones who opened for her
naked music is almost always the background music for all the hip/high fashion places here in manhattan.
