i just got disco kandi III...really great disco house and U.S. garage...makes you wanna groove
and some of my current house obsessions are "Mohammed is Jesus"(deep dish), "Deception"(Blackalicious) and "Rhodes to freedom" (LTJ Bukem)

Dammit! Trinity, please do stay in touch with my email or here and keep me informed of the latest in house music. I know Disco's trying to get back in the scene thanks to it's descendants (house, acid, garage, etc.). I just love them groovy tunes! I've been listening to Modjo's Chillin, Daft Punk's Take Your Time, and a little of Artful Dodger. Joy Rise by Abigail's been playing like over two months now and I'm looking for more tunes. I know Donna Summer, Barry White and Lionel Ritchie reinvented themselves thanks to house.

i had so much fun clubbing this weekend i went and hung out at the most happening bars/clubs in NYC the past two nights..ang saya pala mag party

friday night: went to Spa...this really great club that's the hottest thing in the New York party circuit since Studio 54..i didn't even know who the DJ was but whoever he or she is..the DJ was so damn good. It was trance-y yet not commercial with a lot of deep house. it was fantastic!!

saturday night-first stop was the Cafeteria on 17th and 7th...great music! played a lot of stuff from the Naked Music group...sexiest deep house and trip hop. then we were off to this really chi-chi Hudson Hotel where they had their own Hudson Cafeteria and the Library...saw Ben Affleck anyways, they were more into jungle beats..makes you wanna bring out the nike trainers and elephant pants but alas, i was in stiletto boots last stop was the Wet Bar...it was more hip-hop/r&b music, i was totally smashed so i was dancing to some DMX sh** (teka..house thread pala to! )

i used to go to body and soul every sunday but the crowd changed--too many wallflowers. music is not that great anymore.
three words for whoever lives in nyc. Bang The Party in brooknahn. good vibe. no pre-tense--meaning no one cares what you wear. everyone goes there to have a good time and just dance and forget about time.
anyway, who wants to pay $20 duckets to walk through a door when you can only pay $5 and spend the rest on drinks?

I sometime envy you guys there in the States. Wish I could go there and watch the world's best DJs spinning, playing all that House Music till the wee hours of the morning. I hear Las Vegas has some great nightspots too!

BTW, I recently bought Scott Groove's Mothership Reconnection Single and it's awesome. Medyo matagal na siyang kanta pero ang galing. Funky and at the same time groovy!
