don't delete the very 1st photo you took with the camera. if you brought a laptop with you to the store, you can check it there. but your laptop must have an EXIF viewer (i use opanda) to begin with.

you'll have to scroll through the tons of info, though. look for the "Shutter Count" line.

what he's referring to is Henry's notoriety in selling some "brand new" cameras when in fact, they have already been used.

i've read about this instance wherein the buyer purchased a nikon D40 (or another model, can't recall exactly) "brand new", but when he got home to check on the shutter count of his first photo it already read 2000+.

that was the most extreme case i've come across. others had similar complaints, pero the shutter count is mostly under the 100 mark.

Scary naman. Sa Henry's ko binili yung Powershot ko last 2007. Di ko alam na may issue pa lang ganito sa Henry's. Sana sa Mayer's na lang ako bumili.

starting point is quiapo church in front facing the mercury drug...
go the northeast street, if you see the sm carriedo at the end, dlsr stores are infront of it somewhere !!

charged to my friend's Metrobank cc.
they accept credit cards.
for straight charge, additional 5%.
for 6 months, additional 10%.
for 12 months, i don't remember if it was 15%.

Canon products have their warranties.
you just have to process it online.
Henry's has their website, prices are also there.

hindi kasi automatic na magkaka-warranty yung product unless nagsubmit ka ng details.
tsaka, naitanong mo ba sa mismong store kung may warranty yung item?
kasi kung meron, dapat yung box may sticker ng 3-year warranty sa Canon, at may instructions din dun sa sticker kung pano make-claim yung warranty.

heheh that was like 3 years ago. so hindi pa uso *** warranty online. yes before sabi nila canon warranty then un pala hindi. tsk.. parang lokohan lang. kaya pinaayos ko ** sa may pasong tamo. paid all the expenses.

pero ok na. im using a new cam and has 3 years warranty ^^,
