*this is for the church. ***** adjusted ito for the beach ceremony.

wedding namin will be at manila cathedral, tapos yung reception sa puerta real gardens.
manila cathedral's package kasi may kasama na minimal flower arrangements with tulle. kung magaadd pa kami, may extra charges pa... so we decided na as is nalang yung flowers sa church.
reception naman, kasama na sa package ng Hizon's yung flowers arrangments (centerpieces, buffet table, cake table, couples table, presidential table, etc etc...) so yun, talagang entourage flowers lang kailangan namin...ahehehe

Actually, hindi si Mang Boy ang gumagawa ng mga bouquets. Especialty kasi ni Mang Boy, yung mga malalaking Flower Arrangements. Yung mga pang tables, aisles, mga decorative.

Si Kuya Jonjon ang may especialty sa mga bouquets actually....... Kung gusto nyo, hanapin nyo din sya.....Kasi marami talaga sya alam sa flowers.

Si Kuya Jonjon kasi ang naka usap namin, pero andun din si Mang Boy. Pero nung pinagtanung tanong namin sa Dangwa, si Kuya Jonjon daw talaga ang magaling sa bouquets.

Kaya its your choice talaga.....

Nga pala, hindi mo sila mapapansin na sila na yun. kasi, excuse me for the words, pero para silang magbabarkada na nakatambay sa kanto......kaya nung nakita namin sila, hesitant kami lumapit. Pero, sila na rin nagsabi nung describe nila si Mang Boy, mukha daw lasenggo. Natawa nga kami, kasi medyo totoo naman, kasi nga malaki tyan nya at may bigote pa.....

according to the "paper receipt" that i got...it's Mang JOM not JON. Mang Boy and Mang JOM are partners so you can do either of them regarding your floral needs. anyhow, this is what i got from them. they quoted me 8.5k and i just paid 2k. take note that my wedding is on dec. 22, 2007 pa:

1 bridal bouquet (12 pcs calla lillies)
2 MOH (orange roses, button green and yellow colors, mums)
3 SS (roses and carnation)
4 BMs (roses and button green and yellow colors)
5 FGs (ball with head dress)
8 PS (orange roses with yellow carnation)
2 Mothers (yellow liliums and orange roses)
20 bouttoniers (orange rose pa rin!)

Freebies:
1 car bouquet
1 throw away bouquet
loose petals

uhm, intersting si mang boy ah. i haven't seen him pero very affordable ang rate niya ha. wala ba siyang pwesto sa dangwa? stall 16 siya but "paper receipt" lang binibigay niya? anyone here na may first hand account that he really delivered? may bad experience kasi ako (as a coordinator) sa mga dangwa florist (1 lang naman yun) na hindi nag-deliver during the wedding eh. free ba yung delivery niya or with extra charge pa?

hundreds of past brides from the w@w yahoogroup can attest to the service of Mang Boy's. There are few clients who were not satisfied with his service..(mga 1/10 siguro ang ratio) but as they say, we can't please everybody. haggling with Mang Boy is not difficult at all. yes, he only does paper receipts but so far, this doesnt tempt him to defraud his clients. otherwise, mawawalan sya ng client na w@w.

NAKITA NA NAMIN SI MANG BOY,, Sa totoo lang hindi namin ineexpect na ganun yung pagkakakita namin sa kanya,, our first impression,,,, parang lasenggo na basagulero at manggagancho,,, Mang boy has a tatto sa blikat na lumalabas na rosaryo, basta, kasi umuulan nung nagpunata kami sa kanila, nagdadalawang isip nga kami na magbigay ng pera kasi nga ganun,,, pero ay after ng magusap at magkagaanan ng loob, nalaman namin na mabait at very professional sila sa trabaho nila.nakakuha nga kami ng magandang package,, sulit.. at every flower na gagamitin nila kami pumili, maski yung bouquet ng bride na 20pieces ng tullips........

Hayyy!!!!! tapos na wedding namin (December 9, 2006)

Regarding sa service ni mang boy mahusay, ok siya, on time at very professional magtrabaho. sulit yung bayad nyo.

Yung mga free petals na binigay nya sa amin hindi namin nagamit dahil sobrang dami, nakakatuwa.

TIP lang,

Iwasan ang mga dates na in demand ang bulaklak dahil medyo tataas ang presyo ng bulaklak.

Kagaya sa amin DECEMBER 9, DECEMBER 8 is Immaculate Conception... medyo mahal na yung mga flowers dahil mahirap na makakuha ng madaming magaganda lahat dahil nga in demand, pero yung dinala nila sa kasal namin ay very much ok.
