Good Idea, nag punta me ng dangwa kilala nila si Mang Boy Mahusay pero sabi nila mga 11am hangang hapon lang sya dun sa place tapos palakad lakad lang daw sya, tuturo daw nila pag bumalik me.

ahehhe florist namin si mang boy mahusay! sobrang ganda ng package na bigay nya... as in!!! pointers lang about mang boy

* stall 16 sha sa dangwa
* may assistant sha si kuya jon macaraig
* may tattoo ng rosaryo si mang boy mahusay sa body nya. malaki yun ha... i mean. around the body. lumalabas sa may neck banda yung part ng rosary

beware din kasi may mga nagpapanggap na mang boy mahusay sa dangwa. i asked him about this and sabi nya hindi nalang nya pinapansin kasi kumpare daw nya yun. or something like that ahehhe... anyhoo yun nga. go straight to stall 16 nalang and look for mang boy mahusay or kuya jon macaraig.

by the way... sobrang natutuwa ako kay mang boy and kuya jon kasi nakuha nya yung motiff namin. aheheh periwinkle kasi is so hard to find din diba. usually you're limited to hydreangas (spelling?) basta. sobrang natuwa kami nung nakuha sa spray yung roses. kaya din nila gumaya ng bouquet na makita sa magazine or internet.

my entourage consists of 20 something pairs...
my bouquet will consist of 3 different flowers: casa blanca, ecuador roses and tulips (customized to our color motiff)

the rest of the entourage will have a mix of the following flowers:
*liliums
*gerbera
*hydrangeas
*roses
*astasis
*etc etc etc... ahehhe (sorry, yung copy ko kasi hiniram nung planner ko... ) i will post the complete package pag nakuha ko yung copy ko

note: free na yung buttoniers, loose petals, my hairdress (periwinkle casa blanca). included nren sa package yung delivery and i think throwing bouquet.

all of which are for Php 10,000 only (note that my wedding will be on the 12th of may which is the day before mother's day... mahal daw flowers sabi ng mga florists)

kung kukunin mo si mang boy sabihin mo nalang na nirefer ka ni jen (yung may 12,2007 wedding, the girl na ang wedding eh the day before mother's day) heheheh

Hey! Mura na ba iyon? I mean I got a 7k package kase from Lay Tumbagan of Fiore. Sorry kung OT ito pero I wanted to scout more na mura. The flowers consists for calla lillies, lilliums, roses, mums,etc. Para sa:
Bride
Maid of Honor
3 Bridesmaid
5 Female Entourage
3 Secondary Sponsors
3 Flower Girls

Any tips po sa akin. Do you recommend Mang Boy talaga? You think I should shift to him. Kase Baka naman mura pero malayo din parang ganon din gastos ko? Please enlighten me. Thanks.

aheheh shempre ma.jade it's your choice pa rin. pero sige, here are some of my reasons why i chose mang boy, but before that ito muna set up ng wedding namin who will be using flowers...
1 bride (malamang ahehehhe)
2 mothers
2 maids of honor
6 bridesmaids
3 secondary sponsors
8 primary sponsors
total of 22 women (my flowergirls kasi will be using wands with small flowers hanging sa may star para shooting star effect aheheh)

so here po yung reasons ko to help you out din para magdecide ka whether you stick with lay tumabagan or mang boy
1) flowers for my wedding will consist of the following: tulips, casa blancas, ecuador roses, local roses, hydrangeas, carnations, liliums, gerbera, and statis.

2) most of my white flowers are customized yung color (periwinkle) nung nagpagquote ko, they charged me extra for the flower dye (spray). they will customize the ff kasi: tulips, casablanca and roses

3) my wedding falls on the month of may. in demand ang flowers kasi flores de mayo.

4) another thing is that my wedding falls on the day before mother's day. another reason why flowers are expensive.

5) for my 10K package, kasama na free yung buttoniers for the men (another 22 flowers), kasama na rin yung loose petals, my periwinkle casa blanca head dress and delivery nila. paguusapan pa namin kung may extra charge yung throwing bouquet ko (which is customized also)

6) recommended ng friends and cousin ko. according to him or her (my cousin) ahehe "you know, nung wedding nina mama, we got our flowers from mang boy, as in, he's THE BEST! you should get him" with emphasis on the best pa yung pagkasabi nya

7) we we're impressed with the custom periwinkle they will use for my flowers.

8) i had no idea which flowers to choose for my bouquet, so mang boy simply asked me what were my fave flowers then he just suggested na i add ecuador roses (yung huge roses) to make them look fuller. basically, maganda yung suggestions nya.

9) some florists kasi uses a lot of fillers to make the bouquet look fuller thus, making the bouquet mura. pero if you ask me, parang lugi naman tayo dun dibah?

anyhoo, it is still your decision. if you think na you'd get a better price from another florist, i grab mo na yun! aheheh. sayang din sorry kung parang ang gulo. hope i was able to help you :B

I called Mang boy and he said kase yung sa kanya di ran niya tintipid talaga. Hindi katulad sa iba malaki ang kickback.

+ Its an out of town wedding, with lay tumbagan, she said free na daw ang out of town charge if il be getting the package of P15000. Malayo kase yung location ng wedding ko, sa Caylabne, ternate Cavite pa.

hmmm... how much yung charge nya sayo for delivery if you're not going to get the Php 15K package? i guess that's ok naman. i don't know the price for mini posy roses kasi sorry ... pero feeling ko lang kasi mura yung kay mang boy kasi all my entourage will be using bouquets with color-motiff ribbon of course. not one will use corsages. maarte kasi ako.. hahah *kidding*

i suggest, if you really want to go with lay, get her 15K out-of-town package. at least no worries ka na bout the other locations.

strict kasi manila cathedral kaya i don't need the flower arrangements for the ceremony + Hizon's will take care of the flower arrangements for the reception venue. kaya entourage flowers lang talga problem namin.

na ask mo na ba si mang boy how much yung charge nya sayo for your flowers? i suggest also na you ask him first. if you want din naman, i could ask for you. i'm going to mang boy's kasi this wednesday to show him what i want for my throwing bouquet.
