What's a reasonable cost for Int. Des.? Does their fee depend on the size of the property/space? Do you need to buy the materials from the designer?
normally, cost depends on the space. they dont have to buy materials from the designer. YUng designer ang magp-provide kung saan mas okay bumili at kung san kalidad and materyales. advantage of hiring a designer is that madali ka makakakuha ng discounts sa mga furniture shops and hardwares (licensed Idr, that is) kasi hinihingan ng PRC license madalas. PLus, sigurado kang nasa tamang kamay ang gumagawa ng bahay mo

400k is enough for a super bare condo unit. as in cemented walls, no floor, no fixture at all..

Mostly yun mga bare na condo unit very poor yun cement finish ng developer when turn-over sa owner.
Mahirap rin magtransport ng construction materials sa condo unit. Lalo na pag ongoing yun construction ng bldg & walang service elevator.
mahirap lang makipag areglo sa mga guards at admin na haharang sa mga ipapasok mo sa condo. haaayz.. buti na lang may charm ako. LOL.
yung new san jose na developer, they have bare condos. di man lang i-semi furnish.
I would recommend to the owner to replaced it all with a quality one .
But when you see their model unit first class material, not the same water closet, lavatory & kitchen sink. Very bias marketing strategy.
yeah.. i dont like their units. i had a client sa Victoria Towers (new san jose yung developer) grabe.. bare siya low quality lahat..ayun mas napamahal pa sila.. mura nga yung condo itself kaso mapapamahal ka sa materyales/ fixture kasi nga low quality yung fixture

interior fit out (construction) usually costs around php8000 upwards to the stratosphere. i did the lopez'es unit in one of the condos in makati and one piece of chair costs 40k. that chair occupies less than one square meter. the sy's resthouse in tagaytay (all glass and looks like a short airport tower) uses dynoc film to "paint" the walls. the film is around 1800-2000 per square meter per surface area. for both projects, the interior fit out cost is well over php30K per square meter.
